One of the hardest parts of working in the pet industry is saying goodbye to the friends we’ve come to know and love. When a family loses a beloved pet, our team grieves right alongside them.
Earlier this year, we lost our good friend Boomer, and it truly broke our hearts.
If you knew Boomer, you knew he had a special love for the playhouses at PCT. It was rare for a day to go by without a photo of him happily tucked away inside one. Before long, they simply became known as “Boomer’s House.” Whether it was his daycare day or not, that’s what we’d call them.
Boomer’s family generously gifted this beautiful playhouse in his memory, Boomers house will forever be at PCT!
Today, Boomer’s House stands as a reminder of a sweet, goofy boy who brought so much joy to our daycare family. We are incredibly grateful to his family for this thoughtful gift and for allowing us to be part of Boomer’s life.
The photos in this post feature Boomer’s brother, Remi. Seeing him sitting proudly in front of Boomer’s House brought a smile to our faces and reminded us just how much Boomer is still a part of our daycare family. ❤️
