We’re so excited to officially welcome Tenaye to the Twisted Tails family! 🐾

Tenaye graduated from grooming school this past April and has been working alongside me ever since, continuing to grow her skills and confidence. She has a gentle touch, a genuine love for animals, and a creative eye that extends beyond grooming. She also has a talent for media and content creation, so you’ll be seeing more fun photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments from Twisted Tails!

From July 27th to August 4th, while I’m away, Tenaye will be grooming and keeping the salon running during the hours of 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Please join me in giving her a warm Twisted Tails welcome! I know you’ll love her just as much as I do, and I can’t wait for you and your pups to get to know her. ❤️🐶

In the meantime, here’s your friendly reminder that we are BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Appointments are filling quickly, and with Arie away July 27th through August 4th, availability is even more limited.

If your furry friend is due for a groom, please don’t wait to book. Pre-booking is the best way to make sure you get the date and time you need.

If your pup is due for a groom, please make sure to pre-book your appointments to avoid missing out on your preferred dates and times this summer.

Twisted Tails is currently looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Pet Groomer and/or Bather!

We are looking for someone who:
• Is reliable and dependable
• Works well with animals
• Is willing to learn
• Can answer phones professionally
• Is comfortable booking appointments
• Can handle cash/payment transactions
• Follows directions well
• Helps with cleaning duties and keeping the shop tidy
• Works well in a fast-paced environment

Experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person!

Take a peek at your calendar and find some dates that work for pre-booking your dog or cat! As of right now, all appointments are booking into July. I currently have zero wiggle room, so if you need to cancel, please be prepared to wait for the next available opening.

When it comes to double coated dogs, the proper answer is usually no. You may think you’re doing your dog a favour, but in reality, it can often do the opposite.

Will I shave your double coated dog? Yes.

Will I also make sure you’re informed of all the possible risks and outcomes that can come with shaving a double coated dog? Absolutely.
