Hi, and welcome to The Dog House! Founded in 2025, TDH is a small team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to animal care. My name is Abigail Kocsis, and I am the owner and founder of TDH and Charlie’s House. Since I was little, I have always known that my role in this world would be working with animals. I am incredibly proud to run The Dog House and offer accessible, reliable, and positive training experiences, as well as pet care services. I believe in fear-free training and that “all dogs are good dogs”. I am passionate about animal rights and welfare, helping animals and individuals in need, and promoting and enhancing positive human-animal bonds.

I am currently studying at the Academy for Dog Trainers, the world’s leading dog training school. I have over 5 years of professional experience working with companion animals, with a diverse range of experience that includes working at the Montreal SPCA, volunteering at a rescue in Costa Rica, and providing pet care right here in Montreal.

I am proud to partner with Montreal-based dog rescue organizations, such as Passion For Paws, to provide low-cost, positive training experiences to animals and families in need.
