Your groomer sees your dog more than your vet does. Act accordingly.
Think about it. Your vet sees your dog once a year for fifteen minutes. Your groomer sees him every six weeks… hands on every inch of him.
We find the lumps first. We notice the weight change, the skin irritation, the ear infection starting. We’ve told more owners “you should get that checked” than we can count.
And yet the vet gets the respect, the on-time arrival, and the payment without argument. The groomer gets the haggling, the no-shows, and the “can you squeeze me in.”
I’m not saying we’re vets. I’m saying the person who handles your dog most deserves the same respect you give the one who handles him least.
Clients, if your groomer tells you to get something checked, listen. Share this.
