After 5 years of packing every single order myself, this is officially my final weekend packing orders from our home warehouse 🥹📦 🐾

It feels very surreal saying that. From packing orders at home since 2021 to finally handing fulfillment over to a dedicated warehouse facility… we’ve come a long way. 🥹

We’re relocating, rebranding AND getting ready for a whole new chapter of Monty’s Bags and it’s one where I get to work from my new home without it also being a warehouse 😂👏🏻

No more packing orders. No more hauling boxes around. No more loading up the car with shipments. My back is about to enter its retirement era. 🙏🏻😂

And we have just a few days left to shop our current assortment at 50% OFF! These products will NOT be coming with us in their current format, so this really is your last chance to shop before we close up the home warehouse.

I launched Monty’s Bags in 2021 when Max was just a tiny kitten, and for the last five years he’s been there for pretty much every stage of this business - usually lying directly in the middle of whatever I’m trying to pack 🫠

In August, our new fulfillment warehouse will officially take over packing and shipping our orders, and while I am VERY ready to get my house back 😂, I know I’m going to miss this.

Thousands of orders packed by me, supervised by Max. 💛

From a little home-based business with a kitten for a warehouse manager to handing fulfillment over to an actual warehouse. Pretty wild. End of an era. 🥹

Don’t worry, Max will be receiving a very generous retirement package consisting primarily of Churus and will be moving more into an admin role 😂

FYI, IT’S THE LAST DAY OF THE FAIRE SUMMER MARKET | Packing 34,500 p**p bags for ONE retailer… 💩📦

This order is part of our biggest wholesale sale of the year, and it’s also a pretty big milestone for me.

In August, I’m moving storage and fulfillment to a new warehouse, which means this is one of the last big orders I’ll ever pack myself 🥹

For the past 5 years, every single customer and wholesale order has passed through my hands and has been supervised by one of my fur babies 🥹

It’s exciting to be growing, but I’m definitely going to miss the chaos of having my home garage be my own mini warehouse.

Next stop: a fresh warehouse, a new way of working, a brand new look, and our rebrand launch ✨

Thanks to every retailer and customer who’s supported this little business and helped me to get here. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you 💛

Miss you forever Monty 🌈 11/05/2026

It breaks my heart to announce that our beautiful boy Monty passed away suddenly at home last week surrounded by his whole family ❤️ We want to thank the team at Sardis Animal Hospital for everything they have done to care for Monty as well as the oncology department and team at VCA Canada Animal Emergency.

Taking care of Monty over the last 9+ years has been the greatest privilege of my life and he is and will forever be my greatest inspiration.

He had the biggest personality, the sweetest soul, and left an impact on every single person who met him. There will never be another Monty.

Monty is also the reason exists at all. What started because of him grew into something so much bigger than we ever imagined, and his legacy will continue to live on through this brand forever.

We are all completely devastated and still trying to process how quickly this all happened, but we are so thankful for almost 10 incredible years with the best boy we could have ever asked for.

Love you buddy, big boy, fishpuppy and my squish ❤️

“How many p**ps can I pick up with one bag?” apparently… at least 3 💀

One thing we don’t talk about enough is how harmful dog waste can actually be when left behind on trails, sidewalks and in parks. It doesn’t just magically disappear — it can contaminate waterways, spread bacteria and negatively impact local ecosystems.

So while yes… this reel is slightly unhinged 😂 it’s also a reminder that picking up after our dogs matters.
