New adoptable!🐾

Introducing Chong, a 10-year-old gentleman named after the iconic comedian! He is an outgoing boy who is looking for a family to love him, a comfy bed to sleep in, yummy food, and lots of cuddles 💜

Chong had to be shaved due to his condition upon intake. He has kidney disease, so he must stay on a strictly kidney-based diet. He eats both wet and dry food and also gets a probiotic sprinkled on top of his food.

Chong is available for adoption through SALT Rescue and waiting to meet you at their centre in St. Thomas! Please check their page for their opening hours or call Bonnie at 519-719-7133

Purrfect Seniors is proud to sponsor Chong, covering:
- His adoption fee
- The cost of his kidney care dry food
- The cost of his Fortiflora

If you're not looking to adopt, you can help by sharing Chong's story!✨

Our newest blog post helps bring awareness to misinformation and stigma surrounding FIV.

Merritt, Tony, and Sadie are three cats with FIV that have been adopted through our Sponsorship Program. They remind us that FIV+ cats are just as deserving of adoption as any other cat 💜

Star of the month: Buttercup ⭐

Born in March 2020, Buttercup was rescued two years later from a lab environment and adopted in Orillia, Ontario. Despite that upbringing, which left her with a tattoo in each ear, Buttercup has found nothing but love in her fur-ever home, which she shares with a dog sister, rabbit sister, and cat brother Tyson, who she loves to wrestle with. She loves to eat and sleep, and her family describes her as “a sweet but mischievous girl who loves to bat around anything she can get her paws on”.

And we must say that Buttercup looks fantastic in her Halloween costume! 🎃

!URGENT REHOMING OR RESCUE PLACEMENT NEEDED!
REPOSTING DUE TO LACK OF LEADS

Courtesy post: Cole, Ebony & Stella 🐾

Location: Chatham, Ontario

Cole & Ebony: 18 years old, bonded siblings who must stay together

Stella: 13 years old

We are sharing this courtesy post for three senior cats in Chatham, Ontario who are looking for new homes following the recent passing of their owner. The family has reached out to many shelters, but none have had space to accommodate these cats.

Cole and Ebony are 18-year-old siblings who must be rehomed together. Cole is a male DMH (pictured) and Ebony is a female black DSH (not pictured). Ebony is more shy than Cole, but she warms up with time.

Stella is a 13-year-old spayed female DSH tabby. The family shares that Stella likes to be outside. Purrfect Seniors strongly recommends that Stella’s new family keep her indoors for her safety and wellbeing.

All three of the cats are up-to-date on her vaccines and have no known health concerns. They get along well with cats, dogs, and older children.

Stella does not need to be adopted with Cole and Ebony, although a home where all three could stay together would certainly be welcomed.

If you are interested in adopting Cole and Ebony, Stella, or all three cats, please email [email protected]. We will connect you with their family to arrange a private rehoming and answer any questions.

Please note: Please help by sharing this post and keeping comments supportive as their family works to find them safe and loving homes. The family has contacted My Grandfather's Cat, but they have a multi-week waiting period and we would like to see the cats go to loving homes as soon as possible.

Say hello to Toast and Jam! 🐾

This sweet 12-year-old girl is looking for a loving, quiet home where she can spend the rest of her years.

Also known as Gemma or TJ, she is a wonderful, affectionate cat who loves sleeping in bed at night, watching the world go by through the window, and soaking up the sunshine. After being adopted last year from SALT Rescue through Purrfect Seniors' Sponsorship Program, TJ sadly found herself back in SALT's care when her adopter could no longer care for her and her arranged backup caregivers were unable to step in.

TJ’s ideal home would be a quiet one without other cats. With her loving personality, she could make a wonderful lap cat and companion, especially for someone looking for a little extra company 💜

Toast and Jam is under the care of SALT Rescue and is located at their centre in St. Thomas. SALT's hours are available on their page, or interested adopters can contact Bonnie at 519-719-7133.

Purrfect Seniors is proud to help TJ find her forever home by sponsoring:
• Her adoption fee
• Her annual routine exam and vaccinations

Help us find TJ the forever home she deserves and give this lovely senior girl her next chapter!🐾

👑 It’s Tony’s 10th birthday! 🎂🎉

Tony’s life today looks very different from where his story began. After spending much of his earlier life as a breeding cat and facing several medical challenges, this handsome Bengal finally got the fresh start he deserved.

Now, Tony has a forever family who adores him AND three brothers Rusty, Capone, and Clyde, to share his home with. 🐾💜

We couldn’t be happier to see this special boy getting to spend another birthday surrounded by the love, attention, and family he always deserved.

Happy Birthday, Tony! 👑💜
