✨Meet The Staff✨
Teresa first came to the Clarkson Village Animal Hospital as a concerned pet owner bringing her pup for an overnight emergency. The experienced, patient, and kind team made a memorable first impression on her and, years later, she returned to Clarkson as a co-op student from Sheridan College's Animal Care program. Upon graduation, Teresa joined the team as an Animal Care Attendant to further her knowledge and skills caring for critical patients in pursuit of her ultimate career goal in wildlife rehabilitation.

✨Meet The Team✨ While enrolled in Sheridan College’s Animal Care program, Amber did a placement at Clarkson Village Animal Hospital. Upon graduating in 2021, she joined the hospital full-time. She feels very supported by her teammates and finds joy in working with them every day. She loves animals and taking part in keeping them happy and healthy. Amber has a special interest in surgery and has been training to be a surgery ACA in our hospital.

When she’s not working, Amber loves to spend time at home with her 3 Savannah cats and Domestic longhair. They are nervous with new people but are very attached to her.

When moving into the new facility our team took the time to dedicate an exam room to our feline patients. We equipped it with a cat scratcher, cat tree, Feliway defuser and salmon bites to ensure a happy visit every time. That aside, sometimes all a furry little feline wants is a small sink to make themselves at home in 😂 Thank you Adelaide & Alberta, beautiful Main C**n sisters, for making the entire team fall in love 😍

✨Meet The Team✨ Kiyoko Czibere is a high honour graduate from Sheridan College in 2015 and became registered the same year. Since then, she has worked in various hospitals including emergency, spay and neuter, small animal and referral.

Her special interests include anesthesia and dentistry as well as nutrition, canine behaviour, and hand-raising neonatal puppies. She takes amazing care of all of her patients and ensures they are kept comfortable during their stay with us. She is currently Fear-Free Certified Level 2 and is also REVIVE CPR certified.

Kiyoko is our Nutritional Advocate and Inventory Manager. She loves to help train, and educate, and has been a great asset to our technician team.

As a pet lover, Kiyoko has four dogs of her own, including two Mastiffs and two Cocker Spaniels, one of which is blind from birth.

This specialized area within our facility was designed to provide a sterile and controlled environment to ensure the safety and well being of both the patient and the surgical team. This is Prea! Her owner got her DNA tested and her results are back ! She is at an increased risk for primary lens luxation. Prea may be a mixed breed with all small dogs but she is a big dog at heart! Have a happy life Prea 🐶
