Look at this brave boy! I am now able to dremel his front nails in short intervals. He’s still not a fan of nail trims but he has come so far. I can dremel all his back nails in one sitting.

I cut the video because it was 4 mins long. Usually around the 4 min mark he gets wiggly and bitey which he did so I knew he was done.

Is he totally comfortable with it… nope not at all which is why you see some lip licks, some whale eye, pulling away, hyper fixation on the dremel but he also does not run away anymore, he doen’t try to k*ll the dremel, he offers me his paw and he is allowing his nails to be dremelled.

Side note… when Boomer makes weird noises Grizzly gets concerned. He will go check on him if he is not nearby so we have started training Grizzly with ‘he’s just sleeping’ when Boomer is sleeping and makes noises because we don’t want Boomer to be startled out of sleep by Grizzly.
