🇨🇦🐾 Canada Day is a time for celebration, but the festivities can be stressful—and even dangerous—for our furry family members.

Fireworks, loud gatherings, unfamiliar visitors, and tempting BBQ foods can all pose risks to pets. Taking a few simple precautions can help keep them safe, comfortable, and happy throughout the holiday.

✔️ Keep pets indoors during fireworks
✔️ Ensure ID tags and microchip information are up to date
✔️ Create a quiet, secure space for them to relax
✔️ Keep pets leashed and supervised outdoors
✔️ Avoid sharing BBQ foods, alcohol, and other holiday treats

Watch for signs of stress such as pacing, trembling, hiding, excessive barking, or panting.

If you have concerns about your pet's wellbeing this Canada Day, don't hesitate to contact us.

Wishing you and your pets a safe and happy Canada Day! 🇨🇦❤️🐶🐱

As temperatures rise, it's important to take extra precautions to keep your pets safe and comfortable. Dogs and cats can quickly become overheated, and heatstroke can be life-threatening if not treated promptly.

Always provide access to fresh, cool water and shaded areas when outdoors. Avoid exercising pets during the hottest parts of the day, and never leave them unattended in a parked vehicle—even for a few minutes. Hot pavement can burn sensitive paw pads, so test surfaces with your hand before walks.

Watch for signs of overheating, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, bright red gums, or collapse. If you suspect heatstroke, move your pet to a cool area, offer water, and seek veterinary care immediately.

With a few simple precautions, you can help ensure your furry family members stay happy, healthy, and safe all summer long.

🐾 PARVOVIRUS AWARENESS 🐾

Parvovirus (Parvo) is a highly contagious and potentially fatal virus that mainly affects puppies and unvaccinated dogs. It spreads easily through contact with infected dogs, contaminated surfaces, or even on shoes and clothing.

⚠️ Common signs of Parvo:
• Severe vomiting
• Bloody diarrhea
• Lethargy
• Loss of appetite
• Fever or low body temperature

Parvo can become life-threatening very quickly, especially in young puppies.

✅ The best protection is vaccination!
Keeping your dog up to date on their vaccines is the safest and most effective way to prevent Parvo.

🐶 Puppies should avoid high-risk public areas until they are fully vaccinated.

If your pet is showing any signs of illness, please contact us right away. Early treatment can make a big difference.

📞 Call us to book vaccinations or if you have any concerns about your pet’s health.

🌟 The Healing Power of Laser Therapy for Pets! 🐾✨

Is your pet struggling with pain or injury? Laser therapy might be just what they need to feel better! Here are some amazing benefits of this non-invasive treatment:

Pain Relief 🎯
Laser therapy promotes healing and helps reduce pain, making it perfect for pets with arthritis, muscle strains, or post-surgery recovery.

Accelerates Healing ⏱️
It stimulates cells to regenerate faster, speeding up the recovery process after injuries, surgeries, or even wounds!

Non-Invasive & Safe 🌿
Unlike medications or surgeries, laser therapy is a gentle, safe treatment with minimal side effects, ideal for pets of all ages.

Reduces Inflammation 🔥
Laser therapy helps to decrease swelling and inflammation, providing relief from chronic conditions like hip dysplasia and ligament injuries.

Improves Mobility 🐕‍🦺
By promoting healing and reducing stiffness, pets enjoy better joint flexibility and movement – helping them get back to their playful selves!

Stress-Free Treatment 😌
Most pets find laser therapy calming and relaxing, with no need for anesthesia or recovery time.

👉 If you think your pet could benefit from laser therapy, please call us today to schedule your first session!
