THERE IS STILL TIME TO HELP.
The fires may no longer be making the headlines every day, but for thousands of families, the struggle is far from over. Many are only beginning the long process of returning home, rebuilding and finding their new “normal.”
During these Okanagan wildfires, thousands of households were evacuated or affected — and based on Canadian dog ownership statistics, we estimate that nearly 6,000 dogs may have been part of those affected households.
That’s thousands of pets whose families have been dealing with evacuation, displacement, property loss and uncertainty.
This is why we’re going back one more time.
Our final Earth Options Wildfire Relief Run leaves September 11th, and the dog food we send goes directly to families affected by the fires.
We still have time to add more food to that shipment.
