every year when we put the girls out, I worry about them overeating. So watching the girls headed back to the barn after 30 minutes is comforting. Easy does it girls.

Well I believe these two are stealing my heart! Very pleased with the 3 week old kids from Galiman Rousseline X Staveley Thunderstruck.

Their mom was out of the pen getting her nails 💅🏻 done. 😜 so I snapped a few pics.

We turned Roxie and Toddy outside with their kids so now there are 8 kids outside 6-7 weeks old.

I don’t have a creep feeder setup this year so we trained the kids to come in on the floor to eat grain twice a day.
They were quick to catch on. Some times they spill the dish so I will change them to a different style feeder to see if it helps.

I’m so glad I have been watching the doe instead of the date!
Jewel had 2 beautiful bucklings. Both are nursing and doing well.

I wanted girls of course but healthy tops everything else!

We have about 30 cows here with a majority being Simmental with a few angus and charalois mix.
Last fall Kenny bought an angus/speckled parks heifer.
Thursday night she have us a big bull calf.

I think this little guy is so handsome! And the Speckle Parks are a Canadian breed! What’s not to like about that?!! 🇨🇦
