Looking for a meaningful new activity for your child this fall? 🍁🐴

This September, give them the opportunity to discover the world of horses through our New Rider Program (NRP) at Laughton Training & Sales.

Designed specifically for riders who are new to horses and horseback riding, the NRP provides a fun, supportive introduction to riding while helping young riders develop confidence, responsibility, horsemanship skills, and a genuine connection with their horse.

✨ What’s included:

🐴 4-week program
🍂 Weekly small-group riding lessons
🤎 Introduction to horse care & horsemanship
🌱 Building confidence and foundational riding skills
👧 Ages 4+
👩 Adults are welcome too!
🏡 Small groups with a maximum of 6 riders

No previous riding experience is necessary — we’ll help them take their first steps with horses in a safe, encouraging environment.

A heartfelt thank you to Irina Pljusznyin for trusting me & allowing me to purchase your special boy!! Ace is a stunning 2010 Holsteiner gelding (Ace × Heartbreaker × Voltaire), and we are thrilled to have him joining our show team as a premier lease horse this season.

Congratulations to Allison Leslie-Pierce on your lease of Ace for the 2026 season! We are so excited to watch this new partnership grow and develop in the ring. What a week at the Central Circuit Angelstone Silver Series Equine Choice Show!

Cold weather aside, it was a week full of grit, growth, and moments that truly matter. From early mornings to long days in the ring, our LTS show team showed up with consistency, sportsmanship, and a genuine love for the process.

I am incredibly proud of every rider and horse. The wins, both big and small, were earned and celebrated, but just as importantly, so were the efforts behind the scenes that don’t always make the results board.

A special note that the majority of the horses we brought to this show are part of our own program, including many of Tessa Laughton’s Academy horses. Seeing them develop, step into the ring, and perform at this level is something that never gets taken for granted.

Congratulations to all competitors throughout the week. This series continues to set the tone for quality competition and community in our sport, and we are grateful to be part of it.

A special moment for our team at the first Angelstone Silver Series Equine Choice Central horse show this week.

Congratulations to Luiza Reis and Laughton’s Crescendo (owned by Tessa Laughton) on earning the Top Turnout Award in the Children’s Hunter Pony division — a new recognition introduced this season to highlight professionalism, presentation, and attention to detail in the ring.

What makes this one particularly meaningful is that both horse and rider represent the LTS program. Seeing a new show team member partnered with one of our Academy horses step into the ring and be recognized at this level reflects the consistency, care, and standards we expect across every part of our program.

At LTS, turnout is not just about appearance — it reflects preparation, horsemanship, and respect for the sport.

Well done, Luiza. A great way to kick off the season.

Introducing the Top Turnout Award, kindly presented by Penny Murray.

This week, Luiza Reis & Laughton’s Crescendo won the award in the Children’s Hunter Pony division.

Each week, this award will be given to the horse-and-rider combination that showcases a polished, professional, and clean overall presentation. ✨

The judge will select the Top Turnout winner, which will be presented following the completion of the Under Saddle class. 🏆
