We’re back from summer holidays! ☀️

We spent the last little while soaking up everything that makes Vancouver Island life so special — lakes, waterfalls, rivers, forest trails, ocean and lots of adventures with our family and pups.
We feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place and are coming back home feeling rested, recharged, and so grateful.
Thank you for your patience while we were away. We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday — we’ve missed all your pups and are excited to get back to work. See you soon! 🐾

☀️Summer Holiday Closure ☀️

We are now closed for summer holidays. We are heading up island for two weeks of exploring and camping. Because we will be spending a lot of time off-grid, internet and cell service may be limited, so responses to emails, texts and phone calls may be delayed. We appreciate your patience. Daycare will reopen on August 24.

We hope you and your dogs have a safe, fun-filled summer, and we can't wait to see everyone again in two weeks! 🐾

✨Today marks 15 years of working in the dog industry here in South Cowichan, and it's hard to believe how quickly time flies.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for so many incredible dogs. Most all have since crossed Rainbow Bridge, but every single one has a piece of my heart and will always be remembered.
As I looked back through these old photos today, I realized I remembered the name of each and every dog I've cared for. Every. Single. One. And if I'm being honest... more than a few of these photos brought some tears. They weren't "just dogs"—they were family, each with their own personality, quirks, and stories.

To my clients, thank you for trusting me with your beloved dogs, for your support over the years, and for allowing me to be a part of their lives. So many of you started as clients and have become lifelong friends. I've watched puppies grow into seniors, said goodbye to many beautiful souls along the way, and been honoured to welcome the next generation of your dogs into Camp K9. It's a privilege that I will never take for granted.

Thank you for being part of this journey. It’s been an amazing 15 years—and I look forward to many more adventures and happy memories to come. ❤️
