Starting this month, our clinic is excited to be partnering with VetTriage, a veterinary video
telemedicine company, to assist in providing after-hours emergency services.
Our LARGE ANIMAL veterinarians provide emergency on-call support on evenings, weekends and
overnight, in addition to their regular daytime shifts. To ensure the continued sustainability of this
service offering to our farm animal & equine patients, we will now have VetTriage supporting our
veterinary team.
When you call for out-of-hours service, their team will help triage your concern through their telemedicine portal of veterinarians.
For urgent emergencies, such as calvings, they will
contact our on-call vet to attend, while other medical queries may be managed directly through their
team. VetTriage will be able to provide continuous support throughout the night or assist in
transfer to a referral facility.
There are currently no 24-hour SMALL ANIMAL emergency services in our immediate area. While we
continue to maintain a list of emergency hospitals in the region on our website as a resource, our small
animal clients are also welcome to use the triage service offered by VetTriage. Please note
that VetTriage veterinarians cannot prescribe medications for your pet.
Call our regular North Simcoe phone number (7055347680) to reach VetTriage direct, or go online via our website.
We hope that this partnership will provide you with peace of mind knowing that a veterinarian is always
available to discuss your concerns, while also allowing our team to provide emergency services in a
sustainable manner.
