Living on a farm:

Moved the goats to have some grass and browse, then emptied and cleaned their water trough.
While waiting for the trough to fill, I was taking pictures, then noticed Pirate lying down. He got up and walked off, I was suspicious, so made note of it in my head.
I turned the hose off and noticed Pirate lying in the run in shed. Suspicious. He got up and went and stood with the herd. Maybe we’re ok?
I put the hose away and watch. He lays down again. Go gets meds and a halter and get him walking.
He has pooped and ate a bit of sloppy hay cubes. I think I caught it on time and he will be ok. I plan to leave him in his stall over night and monitor.
Never a dull moment!

At least the goats are happy!

Loki was amazing at the Richmond Fair today 🩵

All our hard work is starting to show, Loki placed 6th in a big class in Open Cart, 5th out of 6 in Roadster and 5th in Hunter.

I’m so proud of him, he’s such an amazing pony!

I also got to watch a Road Horse Class (Standardbreds) which was super cool, maybe something I can work towards with Paddie, (lol) and the Arabian Fancy Dress class which was beautiful, I have a soft spot for Arabs
