Our 3 year biz-aversary was yesterday. It looked a lot different than what it did 3 years ago.
3 years ago, we walked into Canine Reflections the new owners! Not new to the pet industry by any means, but new owners of this beloved business.
This business, is not simply a building or a space. It is a feeling. Our team, our canine crew of pups, pet parents, grooming clients && every ounce of ourselves all rolled into this.
We have been excitedly working towards our new location, and we know it has come as a surprise to everyone. In a perfect world (I hoped we lived in) everything would have been seamless, enough notice would have been provided, and the stress for everyone involved would have been less.
But regardless, here we are. With 3 years of lessons, laughs, tears, and all the memories in between. We love your pets as much as our own. They have become family, all of them.
Our motto for the last 3 years has been, "Every pet that comes through our door is treated as family"
That still stands true but, we are going back to Paige's roots. Where the passion and love of this industry started.
My motto from my very first home salon I opened out of my house, was "Salon Quality, At Home Atmosphere, Specializing in Senior and Special Needs Pets"
Everyone always makes fun of us millennials for gentle parenting. But, I really enjoy the term "Gentle Grooming"
Honeslty. My favourite type of grooming, is more one on one style. I like to learn your pet in a quieter atmosphere so we can create a trusting relationship with your pet. Ive been grooming 15 years, and Ive been in the pet industry for another 5; totaling 20 years of pet experience ranging from grooming, veterinary clinics, animal resuce, daycare and overnight care and everything inbetween. Ive worked in more than a few different salons, with different groomers and grooming styles and over my years I know full well what I want to grow this business into. I do not take my role with your pets lightly and the passion I have for every pet is real.
Our new facility is striving to be stress free. A place for all animals, with anxiety, without it, and every pet inbetween can come and feel comfortable and safe.
The vision may look a little different than it was 3 years ago, but we are growing into the vision my heart has held for literally years.
Cinderella once said: "A dream is a wish your heart makes"
&& Now, mine is finally coming true.
Happy 3 year biz-aversary to us, all our pups && all our pet parents! We wouldnt be where we are without you.
