We just had some extra excitement at the DDC this morning 😂 this fledgling sparrow decided the daycare was a good place to practice flying!

It flew right into the runs with the dogs and mom followed closely behind into the rafters! Thankfully I was able to catch it before a pupper decided it was a tasty snack! I got it outside and it rested in my hand for a minute before flying off. Momma bird followed and proceeded to give her baby crap for a good 10 minutes 😂

Thankfully it was a happy ending for the 🐦

We’ve hired a fantastic groomer with years of experience!!

We can’t spill all the beans just yet, but we are very excited to bring our new groomer on board!

Our new groomer starts on Tuesday, September 8th and we are now taking bookings!

Just a heads up to everyone that our cancellation policy is now in effect for the long weekend.

Because we’ve been turning away clients for 10+ days for this weekend, any cancellations of boarding this weekend will result in a 50% charge of the entire booked stay.

We really don’t like enforcing this, but with how busy we are this weekend we don’t have an option.

We’ve got some sad news to share. Kaycee, our amazing groomer is leaving us 😢 Every one of us here wishes her well in her future endeavours and will miss her smiling face and great work ethic!

Heads up fellow business owners or anyone who uses Square for payment processing.

This looks very close to a real Square email and at first fooled me. Immediately logged into square looked for said transaction. Couldn’t find it, searched the last 4 of the supposed card. Didn’t exist in the system. Double checked the originating email address….Scam city!

These scams prey on your panic instinct. $1000 is a ton of money to everyone and will cause instant panic reaction hoping to get you to click the link. Then you log in to “square” and then the scammers have all your financials.

Turn on 2FA on everything you can, make sure those passwords are secure and remember, never click on a link in an email without being 1000% sure.
