🐾 Project Snip & Tip Volunteer Information Session

PDCT is inviting prospective Project Snip & Tip volunteers to an important information session:

TUESDAY, JULY 28 AT 7:00 P.M.

This session is intended for people who are genuinely interested in volunteering and supporting the launch of Project Snip & Tip. We’ll be sharing important information about the project, volunteer roles and how you can help.

We're thrilled to announce that our next Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) project has officially been approved!
To protect the cats already living in the area, we won't be publicly sharing the exact location. Unfortunately, announcing the location can sometimes lead to people abandoning additional cats there, and we want to prevent that from happening.
Unlike some of our previous larger scale project, this project will take place over the next one to two months. We'll be working closely with local veterinary clinics, so trapping and surgeries will be scheduled around their availability.

We Need Volunteers!
If you'd like to be part of this project, we'd love to chat. Just click the link below, complete a volunteer application, and one of our volunteer coordinators will be in touch.
We're looking for volunteers to help with:
* Distributing flyers throughout the area.
* Transporting trapped cats to and from our holding location and local veterinary clinics.
* Caring for cats while they're in our care, including feeding, watering and medication.

Once we've assembled our volunteer team, we'll be hosting an information evening to go over the project, answer questions, and ensure everyone feels prepared.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who messaged us offering to help, you guys are amazing, and we really appreciate it.
As of right now we have managed to fill the position 💕

I am desperately looking for a volunteer to help with our casino July 10-11 3pm-830pm. Someone had an emergency come up and can’t make it.

A huge thank you to Animal World for generously donating two $50 gift certificates for our prize draws at Pet Fest on Saturday!

We had two “Guess How Many Treats & Toys” jars this year — one for dogs and one for cats — and we’re excited to give a shout-out to our winners:

Dog Jar Winner: Corrine Chow
Corrine guessed 82, and the actual number was 83 — a near-perfect guess!

Cat Jar Winner: Olivia Rad
Olivia guessed 912, and the actual number was 897 — so, so close!

Thank you again to Animal World for supporting our rescue and helping make Pet Fest extra fun. We truly appreciate your generosity and support for the animals. 🐾

EMMY HAS FOUND A NEW FOREVER HOME! ❤️

We are still searching for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for this senior little lady.

Emmy is 11 years young, and due to unfortunate circumstances with her owner and no fault of her own, she is coming back into our care.

We are looking for someone who can give this little lady a place to live out her senior years with the love and affection she deserves.
She hasn’t been around other cats or dogs so being an only cat is preferred.

If you think you can give her that perfect temporary or permanent home, please reach out to us ASAP and fill out a cat foster home and/or adoption application on our website.
