5 Tiny Chaos Machines Are Still Looking for Their People!

Half of our puppy crew has already found their families, but 5 of these adorable female Pit Bull mix puppies are still waiting for their forever homes!

Born on July 5, 2026, these girls have had an amazing start to life in a wonderful foster home. Their foster family has loved, cared for, socialized, and spoiled them from day one — and now they’re ready to start interviewing their potential forever families!

They may be tiny now, but don’t let those sweet faces fool you. These girls come fully equipped with puppy zoomies, land-shark teeth, potty-training adventures, endless curiosity, and plenty of “what is that in your mouth?!” moments.**

Foster-to-Adopt

The puppies will be going home on a foster-to-adopt basis until September 29, 2026, when they receive their second vaccines.

This means you get all the puppy cuddles, chaos, zoomies, and puppy adventures while they continue growing and learning!

Important: Spay & Neuter Contract

All 5 puppies will be adopted with a non-negotiable spay/neuter contract.

We spay and neuter animals starting at 6 months of age. This helps prevent accidental or unwanted litters and is an important part of our responsibility as a shelter to help reduce the number of animals who end up homeless or in shelters.

We understand that some families, particularly those adopting large-breed dogs, may choose to discuss the timing of spaying or neutering with their veterinarian. We completely respect that families want to make informed decisions about their pet's care.

However, as a shelter, we have a responsibility to ensure these puppies are spayed or neutered as outlined in their adoption contract. This requirement is not negotiable.

If you are not comfortable agreeing to and following the spay/neuter contract, we kindly ask that you do not submit an application for these puppies.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and want to make sure these girls are matched with families who are fully comfortable with all of the adoption requirements before they go home.

Ready to Apply?

Adoption Application:

Please send your completed application to:
[email protected]

When applying, please include:

The puppy name you are applying for
A second-choice puppy in case your first choice has already been matched
Your completed adoption application
Photos of your yard and fencing
Vaccine history for any dogs currently living in your home.
*Please note incomplete applications will not be considered, if you have questions please call us.

Please make sure you have carefully read and understand all of the requirements before applying.

We will be reviewing applications as they come in. Once we have reviewed your application and feel you may be a good match, we will contact you by phone to discuss the next steps.

If you do not receive a call from us, please know it’s not personal. We simply receive far more applications than we have puppies available, and unfortunately, we aren't able to call everyone who applies.

Please remember that submitting an application does not guarantee adoption of a specific puppy. Our goal is always to find the best possible match for each puppy and their future family.

These girls have had an incredible start thanks to their amazing foster family. Now, we're ready to find them equally amazing forever homes!

5 girls. 5 personalities. Approximately 5,000 puppy kisses.

Let's find these little ladies their people!

A huge thank you to sweet Jovi for thinking of the animals at the Medicine Hat SPCA! 🐾💕

Jovi raised an amazing $146.50 for the SPCA by selling lemonades, bracelets and candies during Porch Fest on August 29! 🍋🎀🍬

She chose to fundraise for us because her family adopted their two boy cats from the SPCA. How special is that? 🥹🐱

Jovi stopped by to say hi to all of the cute animals, and we were so happy to see her! Thank you for your kindness, hard work and for helping make a difference in the lives of animals in our community.

We are so proud of you, Jovi! 💗🐾

Meet Jesse

Jesse is a happy dude with two important priorities in life: having fun and finding someone willing to throw the ball.

This sweet boy is full of personality and affection, and he’s quickly showing us what a wonderful dog he is. Jesse is playful, loving, and always happy to spend time with his people.

And then there’s the ball.

Jesse LOVES playing ball. He’s the kind of guy who thinks fetch is an excellent activity and that there is absolutely no such thing as throwing the ball too many times. If you’re looking for a personal ball-retrieving assistant, Jesse would like to submit his résumé.

And despite his enthusiasm for fun, Jesse has excellent leash skills. He walks beautifully and is a pleasure to take out, proving that this guy really can do it all.

Jesse previously lived with other dogs and is said to do well with cats, so he may be perfectly happy sharing his home with some furry siblings. Proper introductions will always be important.

He’s an all-around happy, playful, affectionate guy who seems to love life and everyone he meets. He has so much personality to give and is the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary day into a pretty great one.

If you’re looking for a goofy, playful companion who enjoys a good game of fetch, walks like a gentleman, loves his people, and is generally just a happy dude, Jesse could be your guy.

✈️🐾 BOEING IS READY FOR TAKEOFF! 🐾✈️

Meet Boeing — a 2-year-old Lab mix who has come SO far since arriving at the shelter. ❤️

When Boeing first came to us, he had been living strictly outside. He had never really known what it was like to have a cozy bed, play friends, or simply be loved and cared for.

Now? Look at him! 🥹

Boeing has blossomed into an absolute cuddle bug. He's learning his commands, making friends with the other dogs, and discovering that life can actually be pretty amazing when you're surrounded by people who love you.

He's got plenty of energy and still has some learning to do, but he's proving every day what a good boy he really is. He's curious, playful, affectionate, and has a personality that will keep you laughing.

🐶 Boeing's favourite things:
✈️ Playing with his dog friends
❤️ Getting ALL the cuddles
🧠 Learning new commands
🛏️ His cozy bed
😂 Making everyone laugh
🐾 Being a VERY good boy

Boeing does great with other dogs and has quite the group of play friends here at the shelter!

Cats, however, are a hard no. Boeing has made his position on feline roommates very clear. 😂

He would do best with older, respectful children and a family who understands that young, energetic dogs need patience, structure, and continued training.

But here's the thing...

Anyone who adopts Boeing is seriously hitting the jackpot. 🥹❤️

This boy has gone from living outside to discovering cuddles, comfy beds, playtime, friends, and what it feels like to be loved. Now all he needs is someone to take him home and continue showing him how wonderful life can be.

✈️ Boeing is ready for his forever flight. Will you be his final destination? 🏡❤️

🐾 Meet Newt — A Little Dog With a Big Journey Ahead 💙

Newton, or Newt as we like to call him, came to us as a stray in heartbreaking condition. He was terrified, in pain, and had a broken foot. For several days, our staff gave him the time, patience, and gentle care he needed to understand that he was finally safe.

And slowly, we started to see the real Newt. 🥹

Underneath all that fear is a sweet, sensitive boy who really wants to trust and connect with his people. He's still learning that the world can be a kind place, and every little bit of progress is something worth celebrating.

Newt is looking for a very special home—one that understands that confidence doesn't happen overnight. He can be head shy, so gentle handling and giving him space when he's unsure are incredibly important. ❤️

🐕 A confident dog in the home would be wonderful for Newt and could help show him that new things aren't so scary. He also appears to do okay with cats!

There are still a few things Newt is working on:
🐾 Potty training
🐾 Building confidence
🐾 Learning that new things aren't scary
🐾 And… stairs. Newt is VERY much not a fan. 😅

Because of his sensitivity, he needs a home without small children. Apartments will not be considered at this time.

Newt has already come such a long way. Now he's looking for someone willing to continue the journey with him—to celebrate the little victories, give him the time he needs, and show him just how good life can be. 🏡💙

He may need a little extra patience, but we promise… Newt is worth it. 🐶❤️

🐾Success Story Sunday - We love hearing from our adopters. If you would like to be featured, please send us a message! 💕

“Hi there! I keep seeing you guys doing the Success Story Sunday's and thought I would send an update on Hermey. You are more than welcome to add him to the updates if you want 🙂 I adopted him almost 3yrs ago and he has been such an enjoyable addition to my little family. I knew he was special when I adopted him, but a few months after having him home, his vet and I came to realize he has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia. It was a little bit of a learning curve to basically "baby" proof the house for him lol but he began to learn his body a little more with being in a home and having room to explore. He is doing amazing and is such a little power house. He loves all of his siblings but his 2 favorites are Franklin (tuxedo cat) and Lilah (big dog)(both adopted from the SPCA). He actually took to the dogs quicker than the cats lol He is funny, quirky, sweet, and just loves to be loved ❤”

🐾💕 Brenda Has a Confession… She’s Actually Pretty Fabulous! 💕🐾

Remember our sweet, shy girl Brenda? Well… she has a little secret. 😏

Since arriving at Animal World, Brenda has REALLY come out of her shell, and the staff have fallen completely in love with her! 🥰

This beautiful tabby has quite the personality once she feels comfortable. She's gone from cautiously observing everything around her to showing everyone just how sweet, silly, and lovable she can be. 💗

Brenda is proof that sometimes all a cat needs is a little time, patience, and a safe place to let their true personality shine. ✨

She may still want to take things at her own pace when meeting new people, but once you're in her circle… you're IN. 😻

🏡 Now Brenda just needs one more thing: her forever family.

If you're looking for a sweet girl with a personality that's been waiting to come out, go meet Brenda at Animal World! The staff are already smitten, and we have a feeling you will be too. 💕

🐾 Diesel is ready to retire… but not before finding his forever home! 🐾

Meet Diesel! This handsome senior Pitbull mix has a big personality, an impressive trick resume, and a LOT of love left to give. ❤️

Diesel is currently working on his weight-loss journey, so he's looking for someone who will help him stay active with regular walks and adventures. Don't worry—he's not asking for a hardcore gym membership. A nice stroll, some quality time together, and a comfy couch afterward are more his speed. 😂

And this boy has tricks! 🐾
✨ Sit
✨ Shake
✨ And plenty more that he would be happy to demonstrate for the right audience (especially if treats are involved).

He's fully potty trained, loves getting out and about, and is happiest when he's spending time with his people.

Diesel can be a little selective about his human friends—especially the men in his life—so introductions are important. But once Diesel decides you're one of his people, you've got a loyal friend for life. 🥰

He's friendly with dogs he knows, while his history with cats is unknown.

What Diesel is really looking for is pretty simple:
🏡 A loving home
🐕 Daily walks
🛋️ A comfy couch
🦴 Reasonable snack allowances
❤️ Someone who appreciates the wonderful senior dog he is

Senior dogs have so much to offer, and Diesel is ready to prove it.

Call us at 403-526-7722 to book a meet and greet. Give this handsome guy the forever home he's been waiting for! 🐶❤️
