🐕🦺 I have never taken lightly the trust visitors have had when sharing deeply personal experiences with me, and it’s become a near-daily experience through the past three years (and something I’ve encountered throughout my life).
🤍 I appreciate that the boutique is a safe space for people to open up, and at some point the stories shared often involve our beloved pets- cats, dogs, horses, and others…they’re all therapeutic, and get us through heavy times. It seems very fitting to introduce books and tools at Le Pooch that support many of these experiences you’ve been kind enough to share.
📚 Recently I received my first order of guided journals, including several others not in this photo (grief, shadow work, depression relief…). I have also brought in some self-reflection tools, which may help navigate anxiety, hypervigilance, or other experiences which can hinder decision-making.
These journals and tools are meant to help us care for ourselves as much as we care about those around us, including our pets. They may help you implement a new routine, spark lost creativity, or provide peaceful moments through your day, all with the aim of self-reflection and growing through past experiences so the days ahead can feel lighter.
Caring for ourselves isn’t always easy, but guided journals can help you reconnect with yourself. They may help you get through the quiet moments, and encourage giving yourself permission to pause- many prompts can take as little as a few minutes to complete.
