Going to be an excellent time in Grand Prairie.

We are very excited to have Darren Bilyea back to The Horse Program for another clinic!

The Modern Ranch
We know that many ranch horses pull double duty in the show pen — and even if they don’t, it’s nice to know they could. A horse that understands how to use its body correctly will stay more sound over time, and for those who are competing, these skills can also translate to higher scores.

We know that in order for a horse to excel on the ranch or in the arena, they need to be soft, willing and correct. This clinic will focus on just that; developing a soft, willing horse through correct fundamentals. Emphasis will be placed on softness through the bridle, body control, cadence, and rider feel. Participants will work through exercises used in ranch riding, ranch trail, and reining to help horses become more responsive, confident, and correct.

This clinic is suitable for riders looking to improve communication, consistency, and overall performance, whether in the show pen, the rodeo arena or everyday riding. Trail obstacles may be utilized.
