❤️‍🩹Can you believe that Gravy Boat has been in care since he was 5 weeks old , and not once received an adoption application ??? His formative kitten years came and went , and he patiently waited to be chosen. Sadly the day never came and he is still waiting , now 1.5 years old. It's time to make some magic happen and find Gravy Boat his well deserved happily ever after.

💙Hailing from Northern BC , Gravy Boat was just a wee babe when he was picked up. He was incredibly sick and had to fight for survival under the care of one of our rescue partners. He made a full recovery , but then came the hard part ... The wait. Gravy Boat has been very patient for a whole year , and really there's no reason he shouldn't have been adopted !!! He can be a little skittish with new people at first , but once he knows you are safe he is a head bonking lap cat that is full of adoration.

🏡Gravy Boat has a strong sense of attachment once he gets to know you and loves to be as close to you as possible for snuggles and pets. He loves other cats and will need a friendly cat companion in his future home !!! He would do best in a calm adult only home that will allow him some time to transition into a new space.

✨He is in good health , uses the litterbox well , and is a well rounded well mannered fella who deserves a chance. He is easy to miss as he doesn't immediately vye for attention , but if you seek out Gravy Boat you won't be disappointed !!

✨And in a turn of events everyone saw coming , your favourite facebook lady has officially foster failed!!! Crusty came to us blind in one eye , with some serious congenital defects that impact her day to day functioning. She requires extra care , but is 100% worth it and will be with me and her sister (alumnus June Carter Cash) for however long she may have. Thank you to Katie's Place for giving me the opportunity to be her permanent foster.

❤️Thanksgiving may be over but we are still serving it up.... Introducing the one and only Mashed Potatoes !!! We have no shortage of chubby cheek heartbreakers these days , and now it's time to sprinkle a little panther magic onto your timeline.

🥔Mashed Potatoes was a stray who suffered life threatening urinary issues when brought into care , which no doubt had built up during his time as an unfixed tomcat. His health was touch and go when he was first trapped , but with some careful monitoring and a transition to a proper urinary diet he is now right as rain and settling into the indoor life purrrfectly.

🏡It's hard not to love a 10/10 gentleman like Mash , he wants nothing more than to be a lapcat with an adoring family to call his own. It's likely for a cat like Mashed Potatoes he has never actually had a proper home before having come from a rural area with little human contact. But somehow he survived the predators and fought to keep himself fed , all so he could find a fresh start at furrever with Katie's Place.

🐾He is about 2.5 years old and is in good health , he just required a urinary diet life long. He would do well with respectful older children and gets along well with other kitties in his room. He uses the litterbox with ease and overall is a good boy with the very best manners.

🖤We're hoping for a short stay for this handsome hunk .... So come on down and dish up on the Mashed Potatoes this Saturday and Sunday 12-2pm !!!

☀️We're over the moon for our handsome shy boy Tupac !!! After a few months at Katie's Place , he finally found a kind and patient home that was willing to give him a chance to shine. We will miss his playful spirit and the swagger in his wobble , but we are so glad he has a home to call his own and joined a fellow KP alumnus too !

✨Hip Hip Hooray for our boy Fun Bobby !!! This gent came to us as an unfixed feral cat who'd spent his formative years living at a marina. The kind employees reached out for assistance and the rest is history !!! Fun Bobby was finally chosen to go to his own furrever home this weekend and we are all so thrilled for him.

😍You told us you love the chubby cheek former tomcat turned marshmallows , so you better believe we came lickety split with the debut of Pecan Pie !!!

✨This handsome young gent hailed all the way from one of our partner shelters in Prince George , sadly he had spent over a year in care without a single adoption application.... It's hard to believe how that could be considering he is a bonafide lapcat and incredibly gentle soul. Despite only being with us for just over a week , he has made good friends with all the volunteers who have their bets placed on how long it will take for him to get scooped up !!

🏡This 2-3 year old fella is in good health and absolutely adores everyone he meets. His only bugaboo is he prefers to be a solo cat and doesn't gel particularly well with his kitty room mates. But that's ok , he's got a lot of love to give as an only fur child and chubby cheeked boy of your dreams !!!

🐾Sadly there were some difficult circumstances in his last home and things became dangerous when he was unwanted by a family member. Always difficult for a cat no doubt, but he seems to have taken his circumstances in stride and is still trucking along waiting for his forever home.

🥧A year is far too long for any cat to wait , let alone such a well mannered boy like Pecan Pie. He would be a great family cat and do well with children due to his calm temperament and gentle nature.

✨No surprise here , Dinner Roll was barely in the door for an hour before his new momma fell head over heels !!! Hailing from Prince George he was transferred to us due to some special medical needs with his ears. He was a delight to have with us if only for a short time , and we're wishing him and his momma many happy years together !!

✨Almost 6 months in the making , a fantastic FIV adoption for our lovely boys pen resident Ford F150!!! This came just in time as he was starting to get a case of shelter fatigue and really needed a home of his own. We will miss this sweet boy but are so excited for him to finally be able to put down roots and call a home his.
