🐾❤️ A Week Full of Happy Paws at River Paws! ❤️🐾

Just look at these adorable faces! 🥰🐶

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Gryphin, Valentine, Tucker, Bailey, and Koda, along with our very own Simon! 🐕

From exploring the outdoors and enjoying some playtime to making friends and soaking up plenty of love, these pups certainly kept things entertaining! 🐾🌳

💬 Let’s have some fun! What do you think has all six of these pups looking up so attentively? 👀😂

🐶 Treats?
🐶 Someone saying “WALK”?
🐶 Or just waiting for their next adventure?

🐾😂 FRIDAY FUNNY: THE CASE OF THE MISSING BOOTS! 🥾🐕

Just another day at River Paws… or so I thought! 🤦‍♀️🤣

While cleaning one of our kennel suites, I left the door open so Bailey could enjoy some time in the play yard. 🐾

I kicked off my muddy rubber boots so I could clean the suite without tracking mud everywhere.

Finished cleaning, went to put my boots back on and…

THEY WERE GONE! 😳🥾

Apparently, while I was busy cleaning, Bailey decided my boots needed some outdoor enrichment! One boot here, one boot WAY over there… and Bailey looking pretty pleased with himself! 😂

So there I was, standing in my socks, staring across a muddy play yard at my stolen footwear.

Final score:
🐕 Bailey: 2 boots, endless entertainment, ZERO regrets.
🙋‍♀️ Me: 0 boots, 2 wet socks, and some seriously questionable life choices. 🤣🧦💦

At River Paws, we provide the enrichment… but sometimes the dogs decide it’s OUR turn! 😂❤️

Happy Friday from Bailey, our visiting boot bandit! 🐾🥾

🐾💎WE DID IT! DIAMOND WINNER!💎🐾

We are excited and incredibly grateful to announce that River Paws Pet Care Services has been voted DIAMOND WINNER for Best Overall Business for Pets in the 2026 Best of Almaguin & Parry Sound Readers’ Choice Awards! 🏆🐶🐱
To everyone who took the time to nominate us, vote for us, recommend our services, or simply support our little business along the way — THANK YOU!

Running a small business comes with plenty of hard work, long days, muddy paws, endless laundry, and more dog hair than we’d like to admit! 😂🐾 But it’s also filled with wagging tails, happy purrs, wonderful friendships, and the privilege of caring for some pretty amazing animals.

We truly love what we do, and knowing that our community recognizes and appreciates the care we provide means more than words can express.

To our wonderful clients, thank you for trusting us with your beloved furry family members. Your continued support allows us to keep doing what we love every single day.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for making River Paws a DIAMOND WINNER! 💎❤️ 2 years in a row!

🐾 Four Dogs. Four Personalities. Never a Dull Moment! 🐾

Meet Bo, Valkyrie, Bailey & Mister! ❤️

One thing we’ve learned in this business? No two dogs are alike, and that’s what makes our days so entertaining! 😂

Between the enthusiastic greetings, questionable sleeping positions, endless games of fetch, and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes, there’s certainly no shortage of character around here!

Some come for the adventures, some come for the relaxation, and we’re pretty sure a few just come to see what’s on the menu. 🤣🐶

Whatever their reason, we’re always happy to have them!

Say hello to our latest visitors — Roxy, Willow, Valkyrie, Jenni, Everest & Mister! 🐶🐾

There were plenty of happy faces, games of fetch, playtime and, of course, some serious lounging. 😂 Mister seems to have taken the phrase “make yourself at home” very seriously! 🛋️👑

Thank you to their families for trusting River Paws with your four-legged family members. We love having them!

🐾 Happy pups. Happy hearts. Tired paws. 🐾
