The mentor group has been very patiently waiting for pens to dry and ice to melt. Viki has been working with them and the horses in the bale pen, and a little in the round pen. It's not always about riding, this week there was some raking in the tacking area and helping catch horses when the farrier came. Taking responsibility for cleaning the areas they use and looking after the horses really adds to enhance their leadership development. You can move into this program after a few summer camps, it is normally run 2-3 days a month
