We have opened up the search area to to ensure we are giving every opportunity to people to take a drive , scout down from high ground and try to see if we can locate La Gracia

Volunteers needed for a coordinated search effort for La Gracia until Tuesday morning September 8th

In need of Drone Services ( preferred thermal ) for
Am and Pm flights

ATV / side by side drives in selected areas

Horseback searches in selected areas

Walking in selected areas

Ability to hand out flyers and communicate to town and rural residents

Use of trail cams and/ or the ability to set up and monitor for activity

Thursday 9 pm update .

There has been no sightings today . It does not appear that any food has been eaten in the area of the last sighting .

We feel that she has likley moved along towards craven and beyond . There is no way of telling from there where . Likely on the side of the river where she was spotted .

We will continue to spread the word , and ask people to share with neighbours , friends , businesses in the areas of yellow .
Drone searchers have not been successful
Additional resources have been engaged to gain additional information to help aide in the search

A sighting is what we need at this point to provide some clear advice to where she may have travelled to

Thursday 12 pm UPDATE - there has been no additional sightings

Wednesday 5 pm UPDATE - there has not been anymore sightings and we have been unable to locate via drone or search efforts . Unsure if she is even in the area still .
Please report any sightings knowing she could be in a complete different location by now nowhere near the original first sighting

7 pm - NO FURTHER sightings in person or via the drone .
Likley has moved along so please keep eyes OPEN everywhere as we know she has travelled this far from Lumsden since Sunday night

URGENT !!! PLEASE SHARE

STILL NOT FOUND as of Thursday at 12 pm
(Multiple people have assisted in search efforts via drone , foot , ATV, driving )

If seen do not approach but call my cell number. I will have owners come and get her as she is a rescue from Spain and is very skittish.

‼️ IMPORTANT SERVICE ALERT: the zoo, exotics and wildlife service will be temporarily paused from July 22 to Aug. 17 (inclusive).

During this time, the hospital will not be able to offer referral services, regular appointments, triage or emergency services for exotic pets in the Small Animal Clinic.

All regular activities of the clinical service — including those for wildlife patients — will resume once the service’s clinical specialists return to work on Aug. 18.

Important Notice 🚨

In July 2026, veterinarians confirmed Saskatchewan's first case of rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV2). RHDV2 is a highly contagious and often fatal disease of domestic rabbits, feral rabbits, wild rabbits and hares. It doesn't cause disease in humans or other animal species.

🐇 If you own rabbits, please take these important steps:

• contact your local veterinarian to have rabbits annually vaccinated for RHDV2
• keep rabbits housed indoors since the disease can be spread by contact or through food
• prevent contact with wild rabbits, hares or feral rabbits
