05/18/2026
We are looking forward to welcoming back all our juniors for the season tomorrow night.
Due to an anticipated high turnout, we will be opening registration early at 4:00 PM.
Here is a quick recap of the season's setup.
2026 Program Format
This season, we will return to a hybrid format used successfully in recent years.
Older juniors will be asked to arrive as close to 4:30 PM as possible for instruction and warm-up time on the driving range.
Juniors will then be grouped into foursomes, proceed to the putting green, and head out onto the course.
Younger age groups will arrive slightly later to avoid extended time on the range.
Exact arrival times will be finalized once we have a confirmed list of participants in mid-May. As an example:
Ages 16–15: 4:30 PM arrival
Ages 14–13: 4:45 PM arrival
Arrival times will ultimately depend on the number of juniors registered in each age group.
Check-in will be mandatory at the Pro Shop each Tuesday. From there, juniors will move to the driving range for instruction focused on driving, long irons, and approach shots, followed by chipping and putting instruction on the practice green before teeing off.
We will continue to offer fun prize opportunities throughout the season and plan to host Drive, Chip & Putt skills nights more frequently. On these evenings, all juniors will arrive at the same time and be divided into age groups.
Costs
Tuesday Junior Golf League is included with a Golf North Junior Membership.
Non-members may participate with a one-time seasonal fee of $125, covering every Tuesday evening through the end of the 2026 Junior Golf season (into September), including access to the year-end tournament.
A pay-as-you-go option of $13.50 per night is also available for families who prefer this flexibility.
Pull Carts
New pull carts have been purchased and will be available free of charge on Tuesday Junior Golf nights, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that pull carts used outside of Junior Golf nights will be subject to regular fees.
Volunteers
Volunteers are essential to the success of the Junior Golf Program, particularly for our younger participants. We ask for the following support:
A minimum of one parent per group for children aged 9–10
One parent per child for children aged 8 and under
No golf knowledge is required—volunteers primarily assist with course navigation and pacing. We will also consider older junior members who may wish to earn community service hours.
Golf North Drive, Chip & Putt Event
We are pleased to share that Golf North has asked The Fox to host a Drive, Chip & Putt competition on July 7, 2026. This is a nationwide event, with top qualifiers advancing to the finals in British Columbia in August.
Parent–Child End-of-Season Tournament
New for the 2026 season, we will be hosting a 9-hole fun tournament on August 30, 2026, allowing juniors to showcase their skills alongside their parents. A BBQ will follow the event. Please mark your calendars—sign-up details will be shared earlier in the August 2026.
If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas for the Junior Golf League—or if you are interested in becoming more involved—we would love to hear from you.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another great season.
