Good morning pony pals families & new students starting today! We can't wait to meet you! A few things before you arrive! Saturdays are busy days at the farm, please try to arrive no more then 10 minutes before your scheduled time as we have limited parking available.

The very first class can be a little more chaos then we'd like so please be patient and know we are doing our absolute best to get things running smoothly.

Our white cats, there are 5 & two of them are deaf. The cats may try to come into your vehicle of doors are open (sorry! They just love everyone!) Please be mindful and careful when driving in or out that there are no cats under your cars.

First time students in our 11:30 class please remember from our lesson posts that your first class will be spent going over safety around the horses, learning the brushes, how to use the brushes and learning about the tacking up process as well as practicing the steps - the first lesson typically does not involve riding but more for learning the steps and getting comfortable around the horses/ponies.

Please note for ALL classes, all spectators must be wearing close toed shoes - absolutely no sandles or other open toe shoes please!

We do have some helmets available for use for pony pals riders. New students should expect to purchase their own helmet and proper riding gear after the first month of classes.

So true, we take the time to make sure riders are progressing at a rate that allows them to retain & remember the steps. It may seem slow at times, but in the long run it's worth it! 🦄

If they can’t walk and steer, they can’t trot and steer.
If they can’t balance at the trot, they aren’t ready to canter.
If they can’t go catch their own horse, groom it, tack it up and take responsibility for it, how are they supposed to lead that horse from the saddle?

Going faster does not equal getting better. Strapping your kid to a horse and sending them into the arena isn’t making them better, it’s setting them up to get hurt.

You might think watching your kid walk circles isn’t exciting. You might think they should be cantering, jumping “doing more.”

But sometimes they’re simply not ready.

And respectfully — that’s why you hired an instructor. Because knowing how and when to progress a rider is our job.

We aren’t holding your kid back. We’re building the foundation that keeps them safe and makes them GOOD.

Pony Pals classes ages 2-5

First come, first serve. Payment secures the spot(s) & we will not chase people for payment/confirmation

We have been running these classes for over 10 years. Our ponies are level-headed, calm, and perfect for children!

$200, including tax

Classes are approximately 60 minutes start to finish. There are no alternate dates/make up dates. Please make sure all 4 class dates work for you!

Spaces fill quickly, and payment is required in full to secure the spot. Please write down dates. We are not responsible for missed classes due to no-shows. Classes are on specific dates, please make sure all dates work for you as we cannot accommodate make up dates.

Children learn to groom, lead, and ride the ponies!

4-week program running on Saturdays
In November. November 7th, 14th, 28th & December 5th

10am - 3 spots
11am - 4 spots

Children should wear comfortable pants and a boot with a heel such as a rain boot or winter boot.
Parents should wear close toes shoes.
Parents should learn alongside their child in order to assist with grooming & leading the pony if necessary. Some children prefer a parent to assist them rather than our staff members.

Hunter jumper lesson program accepting new students. Please read entire post before booking.

English horseback riding lessons available for ages 5/6 and up, adults welcome! We focus on building a solid foundation. Our school horses do not wear harsh bits, martingales or any training gadgets. They receive regular body work, balanced farrier trims, and regular saddle fit appointments!

We have some availability for new students, from beginners to experienced riders. Option to show, but not mandatory.

Want to ride for fun? Awesome, come join us! Want to show? We do that, too!

Our show team is growing! Come join us on the Prelude & LHC circuits! We can work towards LHC, Prelude, and possibly Trillium for the 2027 season. Showing is not mandatory.

We currently have space in our lesson program for independent riders and beginners
Currently booking for small group lessons.

First time students may spend their first lesson learning about horse safety, grooming, and practice tacking & untacking their horses. First lessons for beginner riders are unmounted. NEW students to TWE will have their first lesson as an assessment. It is up to the COACHES discretion if this means ground work/tacking/untacking or riding

🦄Lessons must be paid for IN ADVANCE (no exceptions) to book. We run on a tuition basis, which means each rider pays monthy for a spot in our program. Some months there are 4 lessons, others there are 5 depending on the day/month. 24-hour notice required to reschedule. Make ups are available with sufficient notice. We do not offer refunds on lesson spots - same as most other sports. Lessons run approximately 2 hours start to finish - this may vary depending on which horse you ride and what day/time you are scheduled. Your scheduled lesson runs on the same day/time each week every month unless a change is specifically discussed.

Lessons are in groups of 4-6 riders.

Lesson days and times are available as follows:

Mondays at 4:30pm - 1-2 spots new rider up to walk trot
5:30pm - FULL
6:30pm - 1-2 spots adult rider at least walk trot

Tuesdays at 4:30pm - 1 spot adult rider who can wtc jump
5:30pm - FULL
6:30pm - 1-2 spots rider who can at least walk, trot

Thursdays at 4:30pm - FULL
5:30 - FULL
6:30pm - FULL

Fridays at 4:30pm - FULL
5:30pm - FULL
6:30pm - 3-4 spots riders who can at least walk trot

Saturdays at 11:30am - FULL
12:30pm - FULL
1:30pm - 2-3 spots any level rider
2:30pm - 1 spot adult rider beginner up to walk trot canter

10 minutes from London, 30 minutes from Woodstock, 20 minutes from Ingersoll, 30 minutes from Tillsonburg, 20 minutes from Aylmer

Riders are expected to work towards becoming independent in all aspects from grooming, retrieving horses/ponies from the paddocks, tacking up and riding independently
