Toby is a 10 year old appy gelding. He is approximately 15.3hh. Toby is athletic and well built. Broke walk trot canter and can jump a course. He was foaled June 16th, 2016

Toby was listed previously this year for sale, and we decided to take the time to give him some western trail riding experience and get him working more consistently. He attended 2 Prelude shows. He is being brought along by a talented 10 year old rider!

Toby is quiet enough for anyone to handle on the ground but does require an experienced rider. He is brave & athletic and could go any direction with the right person! He does not want to live the school horse life and prefers one or two regular riders. Full disclosure, when Toby gets tense he will leap. When in regular work with a rider who can feel him getting tense, he is really nice to ride!

Toby is an easy keeper, currently living outside in a group of other geldings. He gets grain 1x daily & has free choice hay. When out in a mixed herd, Toby has been observed mounting mares - though he is most definitely gelded. He is really a well put together horse & as much as I wanted to make him into a school horse, he just isn't a good fit for that. If you’re a confident, experienced, rider looking for something quick, compact, fun ( so fun ), Toby is your guy! Toby is in regular work and is ready for his next adventure and his forever person.

He has been ridden mostly English, and done some western trail riding. He attended a couple of hunter schooling shows in 2025 & 2026. Toby is up to date on farrier, worming & vaccines.

He is not available for off property lease, would consider a lease to own however he would need to be boarded at my facility.

Hunter jumper lesson program accepting new students. Please read entire post before booking.

English horseback riding lessons available for ages 5/6 and up, adults welcome! We focus on building a solid foundation. Our school horses do not wear harsh bits, martingales or any training gadgets. They receive regular body work, balanced farrier trims, and regular saddle fit appointments!

💥 New students to start in November 💥

We have some availability for new students, from beginners to experienced riders. Option to show, but not mandatory.

Want to ride for fun? Awesome, come join us! Want to show? We do that, too!

Our show team is growing! Come join us on the Prelude & LHC circuits! We can work towards LHC, Prelude, and possibly Trillium for the 2027 season. Showing is not mandatory.

We currently have space in our lesson program for independent riders and beginners
Currently booking for small group lessons.

First time students may spend their first lesson learning about horse safety, grooming, and practice tacking & untacking their horses. First lessons for beginner riders are unmounted. NEW students to TWE will have their first lesson as an assessment. It is up to the COACHES discretion if this means ground work/tacking/untacking or riding

We do not offer refunds on lesson spots - same as most other sports.
