“SOOO DANG DANGEROUS!” The Vet says as she sees the masses on the x-ray of Kitty who will perish without an emergency procedure to remove them all.
Please, kitkat parents:
No hair ties for kitties to play with, ever. Believe our team’s message when we say this emergency surgery was costly even for a non profit surgery crew to provide, and a tough recovery for owners to watch their kitty endure even though it was a successful surgery.

Our Evah team does not have second parties, individuals or businesses selling anything on our non profit clinics behalf. If a bot / scammer jumps on a popular socials thread and/or tags you our after hours volunteer who updates our Facebook tries to delete and block asap but we appreciate you letting us know about it too. Stay aware and keep your info and $ safe from low life scammers!

RABIES has already been found this year in Hamilton, London Middlesex, and last year Kitchener Waterloo had a record number of investigations. The terrible case of a child contracting rabies north of Sudbury a couple of years ago still weighs heavily on public health minds and hearts.
Please ensure your dogs and cats are UP TO DATE with their vaccinations! A possible rabies exposure is far more terrifying, stressful, and obviously life threatening than a healthy pet exam + vaccines appt.

🌽Every corn-on-the-cob season we repost and remind : Do NOT allow your dog to eat corn cobs.

😰This already busy Friday afternoon has our EVAH managers messaging each other, moving appts and asking for client understanding while we juggle things to try to save the life of this dog currently needing a life saving (we hope) emergency surgery. The corn cob ingestion is usually not intentional on the owner’s part, fyi! Rascally doggies and yummy smelling garbage are usually the “culprit combination” leading to desperate owners and suffering puppers (and surgeons / staff who may be able to adjust their personal family commitments to stay after hours to help). 💜
No corn cobs! Ever! Please!
