Two dogs on an Aussie beach. I wanted to show the contrast between two small dogs and a big beautiful world. Big step because I had to take multiple photos, and change their posture. It’s one of the amazing things about painting. You can create what you want, no limits except imagination.

As most know, I’ve had to switch direction in what I do. Still involves dogs at least some of the time. If you’re looking for amazing gift for yourself or others as the holidays approach, I’m taking commissions. Also doing botanicals. And yes I can do cats.
Just finished this commission of two dogs on an Aussie beach. I wanted to show the scale of two small dogs and a big big world.

I promised updates. Most of this is public, so I'm not violating any confidentiality.
I had claimed something had to exist and claimed my records were altered without my knowledge and I could not fully work out. CRA completed aspects of some of my returns. Disbelieved and got in BIG trouble.
I got a report from a valid arm's length expert. I was falsely accused of altering records. Judge disbelieved me and decided that if I altered records, my accountants report couldn't be trusted. Because I couldn't show HOW my records were altered, that wasn't true either. (Why would I have to know HOW? I showed THAT it happened and thus I filed my taxes correctly regardless of HOW my records were altered. HOW is a matter for law enforcement.) Got in trouble. BIG trouble.
Fast forward: I found proof that my government records were altered a second way, required someone to forge my signature, and goes all the way back to 2012. I found the "HOW". It's in the hands of law enforcement now. Found proof that the thing I said HAD to exist, does exist.
Guess it was easier to believe I was a hysterical delusional woman than to believe that I was trained in finance. 4th in Ontario in math. Got 98% on my math exam at Western in a 4 hour exam I wrote in 20 minutes because of computer issue. I sure as hell never altered any records.
Current update: Fighting like hell.

While I’ve been waiting for legal to get sorted, have been working on new skills. If you’re looking for something one of a kind, for yourself or someone else… keep me in mind. Taking commissions. My practice pieces (like the orchid) are available for sale.
Onward and upward. Clearly will never leave the dog world!

I wanted to thank everyone for their help with the fundraiser. There is no rolling since the last hearing. The judge reserved his decision. That means a deep dive is being done. For me, as a victim of fraud, that is a good thing. I’ve struggled with being heard. (First thing at any hearing is… did each party give complete tax returns and assessments. I’ve not been able to do that because of the fraud. My assessments have been chronically under review because I asked them to be so, to fix the issues. I kept getting iced out and shushed). Court procedure, that is usually very reasonable, was a huge issue for me being heard.) so… just wanted to stay transparent.
I want to thank everyone who has helped. It’s been everything. ❤️

It's time I share, and explain what has been going on "in the real world". Also, asking for help. Please..NO HATE to ANYONE. I have not shared who did what to whom and there are multiple people involved in this. I have not provided enough information for anyone to know enough. I do need to ask for your help, To ask for your help, I had to share some of what I have faced. I've limited it to what I have had to do. Please do not presume more than "This is what I had to do." Perhaps it's best thought of as, "Corporations have far too many rights."

Hello! Update. Been a while. I’ve been going through something very challenging over past six years. It impacted the business. To move forward I had to fond new paths. But you all knew that dogs would be part of the journey… of course.
The plan was to upgrade on education and move into webinars.
I’m excited to announce, I’M BACK. Webinars are in the works and man I think you’re going to like where it’s going. There is so much good content about training skills, it made no sense to do that.
Instead, for all the dog trainers and people, we’re going to start with the impact of narcissistic personality disorder on dogs, you, your business.
DETAIlS to follow. Like, share…but let’s start addressing grey rich, no contact, stonewalling, gaslighting and flying monkeys. The clients that break us.

It’s hard to break bad habits. Weight loss? Hard work and ya gotta stick to it.
Nail biting? Tough habit to break.

Your dog’s bad habits are also ingrained. While the exercises are “easy”… to eliminate a strong, bad habit takes consistent work over time to “set” new ones. That is why any promises of “quick” and guarantee results are hogwash.

If people struggle to create new habits, why would your dog’s brain be any different? Give yourself and your dog the grace to practice for long enough to SET new habits before expecting them to happen without supervision and coaching reminders.

Your brain chooses what it prefers for you.
Dogs do same! Their brain usually chooses hand signals, missing what you say.

Dog training v other skills. For those who don’t know… I’ve been learning to paint. Want to learn, you get told, “do the work, do the drills.” Same for most skills: woodworking, cooking, landscaping. Learn, do the work.
Dog trading is no exception. There is NO method by which you can learn to train a dog and not work on the human skills required. With stakes as high as another creature, we owe it to our dogs to, “do the work.” Dog training is a HUMAN skill that humans to communicate and influence the dog.
