🐈🌽🐾Jammer’s story🐾🌽🐈
Jammers is a 14 year old cat that presented to us after ingesting a corn cob the week prior. Owners caught him in the act right away and inducing vomiting at their primary clinic was successful however poor Jammers continued to vomit pieces of corn through out the week.
X-rays revealed distended intestinal patterns which are suggested there is a blockage requiring surgery.
Dr. Hancock proceeded into surgery with him and the results are in! He had chunks of corn cob stuck!
We are so happy to report that Jammers recovered well and was discharged! Thank you for allowing us to share Jammers story and we wish him a speedy recovery!
While we usually warn families about keeping corn cobs away from dogs this is a great reminder that even cats enjoy helping themselves to things they shouldn’t!
