Coffee in my cup, music in the air, Mishka by my side, and absolutely no desire to participate in the circus before breakfast ☕🐰🎶🤍
There’s a certain intelligence in learning to appreciate a quiet life. Not because you’ve given up on ambition, but because you’ve finally understood that ambition without contentment is an appetite with no finish line.
We spend so much time trying to become someone, achieve something, and get somewhere that we forget to experience the person we already are and the life we’re already living.
I’ve learned that peace isn’t the absence of problems; it’s the ability to stop making every problem the centre of your universe.
And perhaps maturity is realising that you can be deeply ambitious about your future while being completely present in an ordinary morning rituals.
Give me a meaningful conversation over superficial attention, soulful music over unnecessary noise, and the company of my bunny over almost any room full of people pretending to be important. 😂
There’s an extraordinary amount of wisdom in slowing down. In choosing what nourishes you over what drains you. In realising that you don’t have to attend every argument, chase every opportunity, or keep up with every version of life the world tells you to want.
The coffee is too good, the record is impeccable, and the company is considerably better behaved than most humans.
