With heavy hearts, we have some sad news to share. Due to ongoing issues with our landlord, we are hanging up our shears and closing the salon. 💔✂️

If you have an appointment before the end of September, we'll see you then and chat in person, and if you're booked after that, we'll reach out by phone or email, to talk about alternatives and referrals. If you have any questions or concerns about your appointment, please feel free to reach out before then.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for the past 5 years at Wizard of Paws, and the previous 8ish years that I've been grooming your furry family members. It's been an absolute pleasure to get to know our Woodfield neighbours and we've really felt welcomed into this community.

I'm so, so proud of Freddie!

Last weekend she went up to Ottawa to compete in the Ottawa Ontario Grooming Show, and won THIRD in her Any Other Purebred class, and SECOND in poodles!!!

This was her first time placing in the top three in her class, and her first time ever competing in the AOP class with her puppy Louise!

Freddie has been dedicated to improving her skills, especially with Tina the poodle, and her hard work is really paying off. She's exhausted but thrilled, and looking forward to her next competition.

Watch for her in Calgary in July for her first time competing at MasterGroom, Canada's biggest grooming contest!

We currently have a few open spots available for new clients! If you'd like to book in, please call the salon at (226) 700-8755 or email us at [email protected] and let us know your dog's age, breed, and previous grooming experience.

Please note: we are an open concept, kennel-free salon, so we are not able to accommodate reactive dogs. If your pup is extra nervous, a one-on-one environment might be more comfortable for them, and we're happy to refer you to our friends! Feel free to reach out. 😊

Happy holidays to our furry friends!! 🎅☃️❄️🌲
The salon will be closed from December 23 to January 2nd as we rest up for the new year (the shop dogs are volunteer back-ups for Santa's sleigh team, so the need time off to prepare!)
Thank you so much for all of the support this year and we hope you all have a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday season!

Happy Spring! I hope everyone and their furry friends are doing well! This summer we are extra busy with grooming competitions, dog shows, etc and our weekends are booking up quickly. In fact our weekends are currently fully booked until mid-May!

If you require a weekend appointment we strongly recommend pre-booking at least your next several appointments or ideally the full year to ensure you get the spot you want. We can also set your pup up on a recurring schedule to make sure you never miss out on your preferred booking.

Please give us a shout at the salon at 226-700-8755 or ask about pre-booking next time you're in!

Enjoy the weather and see you soon!
