Amalfa, Jack, age 15.5. With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our sweet Jack. Jack passed away very peacefully, with his parents and two very compassionate vets by his side at Shelburne Veterinary Clinic on October 15th, 2026.
Jack is survived by his parents, Natasha and Derek Amalfa, and his sisters Haley Titus and Victoria Amalfa. He is also survived by his baby husky siblings, Nico and Peach, along with four cats he never gave a care in the world about.
Jack is predeceased by his sisters Ellie and Heidi, whom we know his soul has reunited with. We find peace in knowing the original three are back together again.
Jack will be greatly missed by so many. In recent years, he gained a large following on social media and made friends all over the world who care so much about him. He will also be greatly missed by his dog sitters, Shawna Goulden and Ashley Longaphy, with whom he formed forever lasting bonds. He will be missed by both sets of grandparents, his aunt, uncle and nephews, and everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
Jack was a big food lover, never meeting a food he wouldn't eat, including some non-food items he definitely shouldn't have eaten. He was a lover of treats and could never pick a favourite because he loved them all so much.
Jack helped raise both his human sisters, as well as his two younger husky siblings, teaching them the value of loyalty above all else. In his younger days, he watched over them all, often jumping right into the middle of the chaos with his Toller barking.
Jack was a sweet, gentle soul who preferred being next to his mom over anywhere else in the world. We often joked that he never needed a leash because he wouldn't leave his mom's side! He most enjoyed walks on the beach, going in the water with his mom, and strolling through the paths at Roods Head Park.
We would like to thank Dr. Swim and her team for their compassion and care for Jack over the past few years. It was evident that they cared for Jack as much as we did.
May Jack's life of loyalty live on in the siblings he helped raise up. ❤️
