Our Sweet Senior Tabby TIMMY Is Still Looking for His Retirement Home! 🐾

Hello there!!
I’m Timmy, a handsome male tabby, about 11-12 years (who can remember?!) young. I had a family once, and was living the good life!! Unfortunately, they moved away and I found myself living on my own near a horse farm for approximately 3 years. A kind lady picked me up, scanned me and found out that I was from Coca’s Promise Animal Rescue (who has since closed). Nikki came to bail me out and now I have been hanging out with the ladies at Puppy Luv!!

I’m a calm, gentle senior ready to spend my golden years relaxing and being loved ☺️
I adore visits from the kids who help here, and have had a lot of fun assisting the staff with their painting and renovations over the last few months.

ABOUT ME:
- Vaccinated, neutered, microchipped & had a clear urinalysis/ bloodwork
- Very friendly and extremely affectionate once I trust you 🥰
- I love kids who are respectful, as I prefer not to be picked up or carried
- I get along great with other cats (as long as they are nice to me too) 😉
- I am cautious around dogs and prefer either a dog-free home or a family with a very calm, respectful dog

I’m looking for a peaceful retirement home where I can enjoy soft blankets, sunny windows, and plenty of attention from my people. Chin scratches, comfy beds, plenty of treats and quiet companionship are my favorite things!! ☀️
I would love to follow you around and have even lived on an acreage before, so I don’t mind assisting with outdoor chores as long as I get to cuddle and sleep safely indoors with you afterwards 💜

If you’re ready to give a sweet senior gentleman a loving forever home, I’d love to meet you!! 😄

A huge thank you to the dedicated Bylaw and Peace Officers in Lloydminster! 👮‍♂️🦮👮

It was an absolute honour to be entrusted by the City of Lloydminster on Monday to deliver a Dog Handling & Safety course. We combined classroom learning with plenty of hands-on practice as we learned how to approach dogs in ways that build trust.

We deep dove into reading canine body language, discussed equipment options and techniques to keep both officers and animals safe, while concentrating on reducing probability of bite risk and preventing equipment issues.

I’m so proud of everyone who participated- your warmth and patience with our personal dogs as well as a newbie from Border Paws was admirable!! 🐾

A special thank you to the City of Lloydminster for prioritizing animal welfare and proactively reaching out for this training. It says a lot about your values and desire to serve our community with compassion and professionalism. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute, and excited to see the positive impact this training will have in the field!!

Thank you again to all the officers who took part, Dalene at Border Paws for taking time to bring one of the shelter dogs over for us, all my staff members and especially our personal dogs for being our guinea pigs and making this day possible!!
