We’re reaching out to our community because we desperately need your help.
Border Paws is currently facing an incredibly difficult financial situation. Our funding is depleting while the costs of caring for the animals who need us continue to rise. We have seen our community come together time and time again, and we are hoping that once again, our community will rally behind us and help support this desperately needed facility.
We serve a large area and help hundreds of animals every year. So far, 855 animals have found the homes they desperately needed since January of 2024, and every animal that comes into our care is spayed or neutered, helping prevent the cycle of unwanted litters and reduce the already overwhelming number of homeless animals in our area.
We are one of the only facilities in the area where lost animals can come to be safe, fed, and cared for while we work to find their families. In 2025 alone, we helped reunite 128 lost animals with their owners.
The need is only growing. If 855 animals were left unaltered went on to have multiple litters every year, the number of homeless animals could quickly grow into 10,000 or more. Spaying, neutering and providing a safe place for animals in crisis isn't just helping animals today, it's preventing an even greater crisis tomorrow.
If you have ever lost a pet and needed a safe place to turn, adopted an animal who needed a second chance, or found a lost animal and brought them to us, we are asking you to please consider giving back.
A one-time donation, monthly donation, or yearly donation can make an enormous difference. Every dollar helps us continue providing food, shelter, veterinary care, spay/neuter services, and the basic care these animals desperately need.
We understand that there are many organizations and causes asking for help right now. But we hope our community can see just how important Border Paws is not only for the animals in our care, but for the people and communities who rely on us when an animal has nowhere else to go.
Here’s what we’re hoping for:
If just 200 people or businesses donated $100, we would raise $20,000.
That $20,000 could help provide essential care for 20 more animals who are waiting for medical treatment, safety, and the opportunity to find the families they deserve.
We don't want to turn away animals who have nowhere else to go, but without the financial support for us, the building and the medical costs, helping becomes difficult.
Please help us keep Border Paws here for the animals who need us most.
If you can donate, please do. If you, please share. Every donation, every share, and every person who helps spread the word brings us one step closer to staying afloat.
