Pet Planet is looking for an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team!

Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Some flexibility is available with both parties agreeing.

Pay:
Negotiable, based on experience

Our Grooming Philosophy
We believe in one-on-one grooming in a calm, safe environment with no unnecessary distractions or stress.
The comfort, safety and well-being of every pet comes first. We are looking for an experienced groomer who shares that philosophy and takes pride in providing a positive, personalized grooming experience.

We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in dog and/or cat grooming
Kind, patient and dependable
Great with pets and their people
Committed to safe, high quality grooming
Comfortable working independently
Reliable and professional
Passionate about animal care and welfare

Experience:
Dog or cat grooming: 1 year minimum required

Licence/Certification:
Pet Groomer Certification

Every year, countless families spend the day after Canada Day searching for their beloved dogs that became frightened and ran away after hearing fireworks. Let’s do everything we can to keep them safe.

Here are a few simple tips:
🐾 Keep your pets indoors before the fireworks begin.
🐾 Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Double-check that your pet’s microchip information is current.
🐾 Close windows, doors, and gates securely.
🐾 Create a quiet, comfortable space with the TV or music on to help drown out the noise.
🐾 Take dogs for a walk earlier in the evening—before the fireworks start.
🐾 Never leave pets outside unattended during fireworks.
