Something we are incredibly proud of at PUKC is our Celebration of Excellence! 🏆

Jumpstart Imagery - Candid Dog Show Photography by Lisa Wysminity captured wonderful photos of it this year.

COE was developed to reward dogs and their handlers who excel, and the Top 6 dogs are awarded a portion of the pot with large cheques and beautiful rosettes.

The pot comes from a portion of all entry fees ($2.50) plus a $40 buy-in. This year, our pot was $2,035. Kali, Korben, Maven, and Nari generously donated their winnings back to the club, as they were handled by club members and our expenses were much higher than normal for this show with slightly lower entries. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to bump up the winnings for Canyon and Mac, and award the 7th-10th place dogs $80 each.

To our vendors, thank you for being part of the show!

🚨 **🚨 HYPEMASTER HAS HIJACKED THE PAGE! 🚨🚨**

You didn't think I'd let an entire PUKC weekend go by without making an appearance, did you?

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be here for the whole weekend (trust me... I had some serious FOMO 😭), but I *did* sneak in today to support our incredible vendors, say hello to our amazing volunteers and club members, and of course... try my luck at the raffle table and 50/50. A Hypemaster has priorities, after all. 😉

But before the final ribbons are handed out, I wanted to say something from the heart.

Thank you.

Thank you to every single exhibitor, spectator, family member, vendor, volunteer, judge, and friend who chose to spend your weekend with Prairies United Kennel Club.

The supportive cheers ringside. The congratulations after every run. The helping hands. The laughter. The sportsmanship. The friendships. That positive energy is exactly what makes UKC and PUKC so incredibly special.

This event is built by a very small team of passionate people who pour countless hours into planning, organizing, problem-solving, and dreaming long before the first dog ever steps into the ring. Every decision is made with one goal in mind: creating a weekend that's welcoming, fun, positive, and memorable for everyone who attends.

Watching it all come together fills me with so much pride.

I'm incredibly proud of this team and of the community that continues to show up year after year, bringing enthusiasm, kindness, and the spirit that makes these weekends unforgettable. You are the reason we do this.

As we head into the final shows today, I want to wish everyone the very best of luck! Whether you're chasing that last qualifying score, stepping into the ring for one more shot, hoping your raffle ticket gets called, or crossing your fingers for the 50/50 jackpot—I hope today gives you something to celebrate.
