💖 **Celebrating Our Amazing Veterinary Technicians!** 💖

Behind every wagging tail, comforting cuddle, successful treatment, and happy patient is a team of people who care deeply about animals and the families who love them.

We’re so grateful for our incredible veterinary technicians! Thank you for the long days, the hard work, the compassion, the teamwork, the laughter, and all the moments when you go above and beyond for our patients. From the messy moments to the emotional ones, you show up every day and give so much of yourselves. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

💖Dog Adoption Special - Now Until November 1 🐾

Exciting opportunity for anyone considering adding a furry family member to their home. From now until November 1, the shelter is offering a reduced adoption fee on all available dogs in hopes of helping them find loving, permanent homes.

As many of you know, they are currently operating out of a temporary location while construction work continues. In the coming weeks, they will also be completing renovations to the dog kennels, which means they will not be able to house dogs on-site during that time. Their greatest wish is to see as many of the dogs as possible settled into safe, loving homes before these renovations begin.

While the adoption fee has been reduced, the adoption process remains the same. All potential adopters will still be required to complete an application, and adoptions will continue by appointment only. The priority is ensuring each dog is matched with the right family and environment.

Hoping that lowering the adoption fee helps reduce the barrier to pet ownership for responsible adopters. As a municipal pound funded by taxpayer dollars, they have never made money from the animals in their care. The adoption fee is designed solely to help offset the cost of the services each dog receives before going home, including:

· Spay/Neuter Surgery
· Vaccinations
· Deworming
· Flea Treatment
· Microchip
· City Dog Tag for the Current Year

Even with this special reduced adoption fee, every adopted dog will still receive all of these services.

If you've been thinking about adopting, now is the perfect time to meet your new best friend. The dogs are looking for loving homes where they can thrive, and we'd love to help make that connection happen.

Contact the shelter to learn more about the available dogs and to schedule an appointment.

Please share this post to help these dogs find the homes they deserve before November 1! 💖

🖤🤍Oreo~🤍🖤

Meet Oreo, an approximately 6-year-old Lab mix who is still waiting for her perfect match.

Oreo originally arrived at the shelter with her sister, Lisa. While Lisa has found her forever home, Oreo is still patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is. Since her sister's adoption, Oreo has seemed a little lonely, and we'd love nothing more than to see her find a loving family of her own.

Oreo can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, but don't let her shy first impression fool you. Once she gets to know you, her goofy personality shines through! She loves to play, be silly, and spend time with the people she trusts.

Because Oreo arrived at the shelter with another dog, we know she can successfully live with a canine companion. However, she can be selective about her dog friends, so any potential dog siblings should meet her first to make sure it's a good fit.

Oreo is looking for someone willing to give her a little patience and understanding as she settles in. In return, she'll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of laughs from her playful antics.

Could you be the person Oreo has been waiting for?

Your furry friends also deserve to indulge this Thanksgiving! Safely!
Just make sure that its plain puree and not pumpkin pie filling! As for the yogurt? Just make sure it is plain and without xylitol.

Simple, yet delicious!
