Just a reminder that Skipper's Dog Wash is here whenever your dog needs a bath!

If you've never been before, our wash room is completely private, there's easy parking right at the door, and everything you need is built right into the machine. Shampoo, conditioner, rinse and dryer. Just bring your dog.

We're also open 24/7, so if your dog decides to roll in something disgusting at 9 o'clock at night... we've all been there. 😆

The new overhead light has been installed, and we're happy to announce that Skipper's Dog Wash is once again open 24 hours a day! 🌙🐾

Thank you to everyone who worked around the temporary daylight-only hours while we waited for the repair.

We're still making improvements! Next week we'll be wiring up our outdoor sign and installing commercial LED wall lights to brighten the side of the building, making nighttime visits even more convenient.

🐾 We're Open Again! 🐾

Skipper's Dog Wash is now back open!

Our overhead light is still waiting to be repaired, which is scheduled for later this week. Until then, we'll be operating during daylight hours only.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we get everything back to normal. We look forward to seeing you and your pups! 🐶🛁

Temporary Closure for Maintenance

Skipper's Dog Wash will be closed for a couple of days while we perform some maintenance and improve the floor.

When I originally painted the floor, I added an anti-slip grit for safety. While it worked well for traction, I've found it also traps dirt and dog hair, making it much harder to keep the facility as clean as I'd like.

I'm sanding the floor and applying a smoother floor coating that will be much easier to clean and sanitize, helping keep the dog wash looking its best.

Thanks for your patience while I make these improvements. I'll post an update as soon as we're ready to reopen!

🐾 Temporary Evening Hours Update 🐾

Just a quick heads-up! We ran into an unexpected issue with the overhead light in the dog wash today. A new LED fixture has already been ordered, and we'll have it installed as soon as it arrives.

Until then, Skipper's Dog Wash will be open during daylight hours only. Once the new light is installed, we'll be back to 24/7 service.

🐾 Another improvement at Skipper's Dog Wash! 🐾

We've installed a motion-sensor light switch in the wash room. The lights and exhaust fan now come on automatically when you enter, and will shut off after 30 minutes of no activity.

This keeps the room well-lit and ventilated while helping reduce unnecessary power usage when nobody is using the facility.

We're always looking for ways to improve the experience for both our customers and their dogs.
