The Tails of Hydra

The Tails of Hydra Dedicated to the OG doggo, The Trucking Titan, over the Rainbow Bridge Oct 5 2023 I sustained a head injury while at work and it was a life changing experience.

Titan was a recue from Casper Humane Society- He started out as a scared little pupper than slowly came out of his shell and was loved by hundreds of people as I shared his story, and the daily story of our lives over the road as long haul truckers. We strove to educate the public, and just share the quirks of daily trucking life with everyone. Eventually we retired from trucking, got other jobs a

nd started moving away from the page, and posting as regular, much to the chagrin of our fans- but it felt like we just didn't have a whole lot to share that was interesting. As time went by Titan got older, and older, and at the age of 17 he had a medical emergency and ultimately crossed the Rainbow Bridge, where I'm sure he is happy with a pain free body, and endless romps in the sun.

We are continuing our journey with a new pup, Hydra who is in training to be a service dog for myself. While Hydra was originally intended to be just a pet, he showed a real aptitude for intelligence and calm and I decided that he would be happier with a job- and he has skills that can make us a great team and help me live a more normal life. So now we are sharing that journey with our fans.

I have been starting seedlings in the basement- probably a bit too early tbh- but now I have April Blooms to admire while I wait for the appropriate time to set all the babies loose in the garden.

This guy is a second generation seed I collected from my flowers last year- the camera just isn't really getting the color or focus right. But it's gorgeous with tons of little spots- Galaxy X Sugar daddy cross. No fantastic smell like sugar daddies, but that's okay because it's gorgeous.

Oh man, sorry for the long long absence- life has marched on and I have been busy with life - it's taken all my energy and then I forget or don't have the energy to update my page.

I'm starting baby plants for planting out (saves money by not buying at the greenhouse) and I get to try fun things like starting Potatoes from true seed (not tubers) - and while that doesn't seem exciting to most people I'm completely stoked to see how they turn out because they will be different than the tubers I planted last year and will be unique little 'new' Potatoes. If you want to see them ask! (does anyone read these posts???????)

I got a couple different versions of the flu, and it threw me back so far in physical ability and mental acuity that even I can't believe it. It was like getting a surgery again- just no stamina and mental fog so deep I can't see the end. Between trying to keep up with basic housekeeping, martial arts and all the hobbies I'm wiped. I may have to drop a few classes just so that I'm not stretched so thin mentally and physically.
