🐾 Rowan Has Officially Been Adopted! 🐾

We are thrilled to share that Rowan has found his forever home!

Even more special, Rowan has been adopted by one of PAACT’s incredible Core Volunteers, who was also the very first person to foster him when he entered our care. It feels like his journey has come full circle.

When Rowan came into PAACT's care, we arranged for him to be assessed by our veterinarian after concerns were raised. Based on the veterinary assessment, it appeared that Rowan had likely suffered a pelvic fracture at some point in his short life. Despite this difficult start, Rowan never let his past define him. His sweet personality, resilience, and affectionate nature quickly won over everyone who met him, proving that even after hardship, animals can continue to thrive when given the chance.

Over the past several months, Rowan has received the care, patience, and support he deserved while waiting for the perfect match. We could not be happier that the person who opened their home to him as a foster has now opened their heart to him forever.

Thank you to everyone who supported him throughout his journey. Stories like Rowan’s remind us that sometimes the best forever homes are found where a pet already feels safe, loved, and understood.

Here's to a lifetime of love, comfort, and happiness, Rowan. ❤️🐾

🎉🐾 THANK YOU, ZEN CAT CLINIC & OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! 🐾🎉

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating Zen Cat Clinic - Dr. Kate 2nd Anniversary!

As part of the celebration, guests were invited to bring pet food or supplies in exchange for entries into the event prize draws. Thanks to the generosity of community members, an incredible collection of donations was gathered to support local pets and families through PAACT’s Care Closet.

Every donation received will help provide essential resources to pet owners experiencing temporary hardship, ensuring beloved pets can remain safe, healthy, and with the people who love them most. ❤️

A special thank you to Zen Cat Clinic for choosing to support local animal welfare as part of this milestone celebration. We are honoured to be the recipient of these community donations and grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many compassionate animal lovers throughout the day.

The generosity shown at this event is a wonderful reminder that when a community comes together, even small acts of kindness can create a lasting imPAACT.

💜 Need a Helping Paw? 💜
If you or someone you know is experiencing temporary hardship and could benefit from pet food or supplies, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Our Care Closet program exists to help keep pets healthy, cared for, and at home with the families who love them.

Congratulations to Zen Cat Clinic on two wonderful years of caring for cats, supporting families, and making a difference in our community. 🎈🐱✨

MEET KUJO
2-3 Years Old | Neutered | Vaccinated | American Staffordshire Terrier Mix

Kujo is a loyal, affectionate boy searching for the forever home he deserves.

After being rescued from a difficult situation, Kujo has spent the last several months learning what safety, stability, and routine look like. He has blossomed into a healthy, loving companion who forms deep bonds with his people and simply wants to be part of the family.

An active dog at heart, Kujo loves outdoor adventures and would thrive with someone who enjoys walking, hiking, running, or biking. Once he has had a chance to burn some energy, he is happiest relaxing nearby and keeping you company.

KUJO’s QUALITIES 💖
• Loyal and deeply devoted to his people
• Affectionate and people-oriented
• House-trained and crate-trained
• Smart, athletic, and eager to learn
• Enjoys outdoor adventures and exercise
• Has lived successfully around cats
• Thrives with structure, routine, and companionship

KUJO'S IDEAL HOME 🏠
Kujo would do best in a calm, stable home where he can continue building confidence. He may be happiest as the only dog or with one calm, balanced canine companion. Because of his past, Kujo experiences some separation anxiety and does best with people who have the time, patience, and consistency to help him feel secure. While he may bark when meeting new people, he warms up quickly once he knows he is safe.

LOOKING FOR A BEST FRIEND? 🐶
Kujo is not just looking for a home – he is looking for someone to share life's adventures with. In return, he will offer unwavering loyalty, companionship, and plenty of love.

Kujo is being supported through PAACT's Tail End Journey program and is ready to begin his next chapter with a family of his own.

No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their pet.

At PAACT, we understand that life can happen to anyone. Our Care Closet exists to help ensure that temporary challenges do not become permanent separations between pets and the people who love them.

Through the generosity of our community, the Care Closet provides FREE essential pet supplies to individuals and families experiencing financial difficulties. Available items may include pet food, specialty veterinary diets, cat litter, crates, kennels, bedding, bowls, leashes, collars, toys, and other pet care essentials, depending on current donations.

For many families, pets are more than companions—they are sources of comfort, stability, emotional support, and unconditional love. By helping provide the essentials, we can reduce stress, prevent unnecessary surrender, and help keep beloved pets safely at home where they belong.

As of June 2nd, Bandit & Hobbes will have been in PAACT foster care for an entire year…

These bonded boys have come such a long way since entering care. They were surrendered after their owner had to leave a domestic violence situation, and when they first arrived, they were extremely fearful and unsure of the world around them.

With patience, love, and stability from their foster family, they have truly blossomed into affectionate, resilient companions who deserve a family of their own.

Bandit (approximately 6 years old) is the handsome long-haired sweetheart of the pair. His beautiful silky coat requires regular brushing — thankfully, it is one of his favourite things. With his confidence restored, Bandit now moves through life with gentle affection, quiet curiosity, and a calm, loving presence.

Hobbes (approximately 7 years old) is the cuddly short-haired guy who absolutely adores affection. He loves curling up with his humans, making biscuits, and soaking up all the love and comfort he can get. Hobbes has such a sweet, affectionate personality and thrives on companionship.

These boys are:
✔ Bonded and well socialized
✔ Neutered
✔ Up to date on vaccinations
✔ To be microchipped prior to adoption

Bandit & Hobbes would do best in a home without other pets, or with a family willing to provide slow introductions, patience, and understanding during transitions.

More than anything, they are simply looking for someone willing to love them together. After everything they have been through, we would love nothing more than to see them finally get the happy ending they deserve. ❤️

Adoption Fee: $200.00 (Includes neuter, vaccinations, and microchip)
