Golden Hearts, Golden Years 💛 October - November is Senior Pet Season
Meet the Senior Pets of the Coulee Vet Family!💚💙
Stewart is an estimated 10+ year old kitty who came to Coulee Veterinary Clinic as a stray after a Good Samaritan found him hiding in their car’s engine compartment. It was love at first sight for Wendy, and Stewart, being the natural salesman that he is, quickly convinced her that their family absolutely needed him! 💕
When Stewart arrived, he had a severe eye infection, and further examination revealed entropion of his lower eyelid. Dr. Barry performed surgery last spring, and Stewart has made a full recovery! These days, Stewart is officially King of the household. He tolerates his canine subjects, Meadow and Coulee, and expects his wet food to be served precisely at 5:30 a.m. He graciously shares his portion with his sister Gracie, another rescue from the Pincher Creek & District Humane Society.
Stewart has truly made the household feel complete, although he does have a comment about absolutely everything. He enjoys supervising Wendy while she cooks, sitting at the breakfast table to offer his opinions, and proudly leading visitors straight to his food dish—just in case they were wondering where the important business happens. He even enjoys getting dressed up and can frequently be found sporting a tuxedo and bow tie because, naturally, he has a reputation to maintain. 🖤🤍
Stewart also loves coming to the clinic to supervise the girls in the back, because apparently being King of the Household isn’t quite enough responsibility. We are so grateful that Stewart found his way into our lives. He has brought so much personality, love, and laughter into our home, and we are honoured to give him a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years—preferably with his 5:30 a.m. breakfast served exactly on time! 👑
