As the majority of my pups from Spring/Summer have already made it to their new homes, and Im actively taking deposits on my fall/winter litters a few things have been on my mind that I would like to go over in preparation. Whether your already on the fall list or are considering a puppy from us in the future.
I don't and never have limited my potential puppy families to hunting only homes. Ive put a large emphasis on my program and my own dogs to be civil citizens in the house. We foot hunt. And as most foot hunters look forward to hunting season every year I also want to produce dogs that are active household companions. Yes dogs are dogs but hunting season is only a few months of the year and I want you to have a companion for the other months too.
Ive learned alot of things by trial and error... sometimes more error then trial and I tend to learn things the hard way anyways 😆
I offer a 24 month health gaurantee. While my goal is to give you a healthy dog, genetics are funny and things come up. The health gaurantee is for me. Its so that when things happen I get told about it. If noone came back to me and said something went wrong crossing these two dogs I would never know and continue on thinking they are all unicorns.... I live in reality and know thats not so, when things happen I want to know about it.
I do have food and alteration stipulations on the health guarantee. I provide ample paperwork for you so you know how to keep your health gaurantee valid. I am not forcing a certain food brand on anyone and I have tried many. Nutrition is one of my favorite things to talk about. However if you want to go against my recommendation thats totally up to you, but then the health gaurantee is void.
My puppies are sold on contract they come back to me if they ever need to be rehomed. Now this isnt because I have endless time and space for extra dogs, this is because I brought them into this world and I will stand behind them until they are no longer here.
Deposits show intention, intention gets communication. I wish I had time to reach out to everyone who has said "let me know when you have your next litter". It doesn't work like that. I would spend weeks at a time on my phone. I don't have hired help, its me and Camryn(if anyone has tried to get their teenager to work as hard as you without being told I'd love some tips). My "real job" and the dogs need me too and that comes first. If you want to be on the list for the next litter put a deposit on it! When it comes to the Picardys depending on your location wait lists can be a while, and tho a deposit doesnt guarantee the next litter has a puppy for you it does hold your spot in line for the next available puppy. Im more then happy to accomidate Americans as well.
The airport is a solid with no traffic 3 hours away. Make sure you communicate with me for availability for flight drop off!!
My vet is 90 min one way.... sometimes I cannot get there last minute.

I have always tried to be easy to contact and easy to deal with. I accomidate to my demise at times. Im looking forward to my next batch of littles. Its stressful but rewarding.
