Hi everyone! Another quick update! Sarah is away all of this week, and will be back next Monday (July 27). I am still monitoring messages and scheduling while she's gone during the following hours:

Mon/Wed: 11-4
Tues/Thurs: 11-3
Friday: 11-2

All messages received outside these hours will be attended to once I start work. Any questions that require Sarah's input will unfortunately have to wait until she is back, but I will let you know if that's the case.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
-Elodie

Hey everyone! It's been awhile since we've posted.

We've had a big shift here at Wiggle Wag. Tara is no longer working with us as of May 2026, and has since moved to a salon on the south side of Edmonton. This change came as a result of my decision to downsize the business. The stress of having a full time business operating out of my basement became too much for my family and I, especially as my kids are getting older.

With that said, I'm still open and grooming my normal hours, and currently have the help of an apprentice groomer, Shayla, who is bathing and drying dogs, while developing her skills as a part time groomer under my guidance. Additionally, Elodie is still working as my head administrator, and handling messaging and scheduling.

While we figure out exactly what the business looks like moving forward, we've turned off online booking for clients, and paused all new client intakes for every service, including our usual waitlist. Not as many clients followed Tara as we expected, and I'm currently booking into mid-September for dog grooms, and mid to late August for all other services. We need the opportunity to get the schedule under control, and unfortunately these changes mean that we cannot accommodate everyone at this time.

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all of your love and support. Your business, patience, and understanding means so much to me and my family.

Please bare with us while we navigate the change in the schedule.

Thank you so much again,
Sarah

Picture two moms nerding out about pets and health, shedding and skin issues at a kids birthday party.

Well that was Brittney and I at a party our daughters attended.

She told me about a supplement that boreal who she works for has and I'm so excited to try it out.

She gave me a bag and I immediately thought let's share it with someone whose pet(s) needs it.

So here's how it will work:

Send me or comment pictures in this post of your dog's "hot spots", shedding, super brittle nails, or rough textured pads.

ON FEB 28 I'll draw a name from the owners that had sent photos and Winner gets the bag as a gift to try on their pet.

Here's a list of things it could help with if that helps with pictures or something your pet might be dealing with but your not sure if it will work for them.

Chronic hair loss
Dull coats
Dry flaky skin
Itchy conditions
Dogs that are prone to hot spots and rashes
Skin conditions that have been diagnosed as allergic reactions
Skin scabs on the abdomen, thighs, testicles
Poor footpad and nail quality, such as brittle nails, and cracking footpads
Dogs with and excess of skin wrinkles that tend to develop a wet skin condition in these wrinkled areas such as Shar Pei, Bulldogs, Pekinese
Skin issues in northern breeds such as Siberian Huskies, Labrador Retrievers and Saint Bernards

HOLIDAY CLOSURE ALERT!
We will be closed for all services from Dec. 21st to Jan. 1st

During this time, Sarah and Tara will be off, but Elodie will return on Dec. 29th to catch up on messages over the final week of the year. Between Dec. 21st to 28th, we likely will not be responding to any messages.

We are fully booked for all services, except for a few in-salon nail trim spots, until the end of the year. We do have a holiday waiting list open for the next two weeks, but there is no guarantee at this point that we'll have spots open up.

Thank you!

Sadly another client is looking for a new home for her 5yr old rotti girl named Lilo.

She's chasing horses on the property but otherwise a great girl.

She's great with other dogs, no issues with cats. Kenneled trained and loves hiking, paddleboarding, and Loves ball.

Will eat stuff off the counter if left unattended.

If interested shoot me a message and I'll get you in touch.

A dear client isn't well and is needing to find a home for her Maine C**n Harley. Here is what mom says about him:

He is a Main C**n. 5 1/2 yrs old. In good health. For diet I give him 3 types of food mixed together. Beef, chicken and Turkey. I've tried him on many types of dry cat food this is the only thing he likes. Nothing to quirky about him. He is a loving cat who needs a good home. No other animals in the house.

It your interested message me and I'll get you in touch.

Listen, we don't want to think about the fact that Christmas is only 64 days away either.

But we are fully booked for December, and November is filling up too!
So if you're an existing client, and you want your pup looking fresh and beautiful for the holidays, now might be a great time to reach out and book an appointment. Send us a message here, or better yet, text 833-630-0934 to get in touch.

More spots may be made available closer to December, depending on demand.

Thanks!

Camrose Animal Alliance Rescue Society has this beautiful girl in care! I had the pleasure of doing her nails yesterday and just loved spending time with her.
She's so sweet, did amazing on the table for nails even with a very sore nail, she can sit with and without saying sit, she's already starting to know her name.
She is incredibly smart and will learn anything quick.

She is experiencing some seperation anxiety but I feel won't last long. She's has gone through alot of vet treatment lately and is adjusting to her foster home.

She is less than a year old, soon to be spayed, fully vaccinated and beautiful!
