Between the hot weather and now the poor air quality, please make sure you are considering your companion animal’s health. ❤️🐶🐱🌡️🩺

If it is not recommended for YOU to be outside for long periods of time, it is 100% not recommended for your pets to be out for long periods of time, if at all except for bathroom breaks!

Here are some good ideas to keep your pets mentally stimulated while indoors:

🔴 Fill a Kong with some peanut butter, canned food or low fat plain yogurt and freeze it to make it last a little longer!

🟠 Take an old blanket and spread their food on it and roll it up and tie it in a knot to make them work for their meals!

🟡 Play fetch in a hallway/ large area!

🟢 Play hide and seek with their kibble or their favourite toy to keep them searching!

🔴 Food puzzles from Amazon or a pet store will also keep them busy!

🟠 Refresh their commands inside. A training session never hurts!

🟡 Get a Lick Mat and fill it with some yummy, spreadable treats!

🟢 Give them a cardboard box and let them rip it to shreds! (While supervised).

Your pet relies on you to keep them safe, please think twice before going out! ❤️🐶🐱🌡️🩺
