Important Notice for our Valued Clients:

To better serve pets who require medical care, Weste Animal Hospital will no longer be offering routine nail trim appointments for pets that do not require full sedation.

As appointment demand continues to grow, this change will allow us to make more space available for sick pets and patients requiring veterinary care.

For routine nail trims, we recommend checking with local groomers and pet supply stores that offer nail trim services, including Pet Valu and many grooming salons in our community.

If your pet experiences significant anxiety, fear, or behavioral challenges that make nail trims difficult outside the veterinary clinic, we're happy to help. Book an appointment with one of our veterinarians to discuss medications and strategies that can help make nail trims safer and less stressful for everyone involved.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us ensure we can continue providing timely care to the pets who need it most. 🐾

After a career spanning several decades and 12 years of caring for pets and families at Weste Animal Hospital, Dr. Kirsten Goodman is officially hanging up her stethoscope.

Dr.G has been the definition of dedication, compassion, and excellence in veterinary medicine. She has touched countless lives, both human and animal, and leaves behind a legacy that will be felt for years to come.

Please join us in wishing her a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.

Due to the continued growth in demand for veterinary care, Weste Animal Hospital will be temporarily pausing acceptance of new clients and patients.

This decision was not made lightly. Our priority is to ensure we can continue providing timely, high-quality care and appropriate appointment availability for the pets and families who already trust us with their care.

Veterinary teams everywhere continue to face increased caseloads and staffing challenges, and we believe this temporary pause is the most responsible way to protect the level of service and medical care our community deserves.

We are incredibly grateful for the support, trust, and understanding of our clients and community. We will continue to reassess our capacity and hope to welcome new clients again in the future.
