RIP
NEMRODLABS TOPMODEL HOPE JH
11 Feb 2015 - 9 June 2026
Hope started her life living in Quebec with a family before she made her way to me. Hope was around 2.5/3years old when I got her and boy did she have personality and drive to retrieve but also a very loving sweet side to her. She was small and compact and full of energy and power. Hope achieved her
junior Hunter with me in the lac st Jean test but senior Hunter seemed to be a challenge for her cause without her e-collar sit and staying seated when birds were falling was a bit challenge for this little dog. So we put hunt tests to the side and had a great time training and hunting. In between hunting and training Hope gave birth to a litter of 2 black pups (Bramble and Diesel #2 ) and then a litter of 3 yellows (Star, Midis, Dave) and her final litter was 4 dark yellows. (Killalu, Flash, Goldie and Gracie) We always laughed and said Hope may not have produced big quantity of pups but oh she produced amazing quality of pups. Two of her daughters are well known around here one being Star who achieved her grandmaster Hunter last year with me and the other being Flash who achieved her master Hunter two weeks ago with me.
After Hopes training career and breeding career she went to live the retirement life with two wonderful people on 7 Nov 2020. I remember saying give it a two week trail and let me know if it’s going to work. Well Hope never came back and I got a ton of pics of her being a part of the family. So I guess the trail was a success! These ladies took such amazing care of Hope and created so many memories with her and Hope became their camping partner and just really their little sidekick she went everywhere with them From PEI to the Arctic Circle. They took such good care of Hope that just last December when Hopes daughter Star retired from her hunt test and breeding career she went to live with her moma Hope. Sadly last week we all had to say goodbye to Hope. I am glad I had the opportunity to spend the years i did with Hope and am so glad she lived such an amazing life with wonderful people in her retirement and even got to be reunited with Star her first daughter for her final months.
Hope Rest easy my girl you lived an amazing life and now you can be with other amazing dogs that I am sure you may recognize where you have gone, as they have left us far too soon. Keep chasing those birds and bumpers girl!
