Ontario/Quebec drop off trip: FedEx shipping fees are through the roof these days (right now the regular FedEx fees to lower Ontario are $77 or more), so Amanda will be making another drop off road trip through Ontario and Quebec (between Montreal and Gatineau) October 22, 23, 24.
We will be asking a $15 fee to help cover costs of the trip out for the weekend, but with a drop off, folks will save $60 or more on shipping expenses, plus get the safety and security of a hand delivery.
We may try to hit some other towns within a reasonable driving distance of the highways if there is enough interest. In Ontario, we will be making drops along highways/routes 400, 401, 403, 417, QEW (as far east as St. Catherine’s), and more. For Quebec, will be able to make drops along autoroute 50 and 20 (from Dorval to the Ontario boarder).
To maximize the number of locations at which we can make drops for the day, we will be setting up designated meeting places hear the highway where folks in each city can meet us to grab their orders. Our schedule will be tight, so we will not be able to make drop offs at individual residences.
NEW: For the greater Toronto area, we will be doing things a bit differently. Amanda will be in the Toronto area all day on Friday Oct 23, and she will try to expand her drop off route to include meeting locations near the Don Valley Parkway, and north of the 401 in Vaughan and Markham. She may also be available to make home deliveries for an additional fee. For folks not available in the GTA on Friday, we can meet near the 401 on Saturday Oct 24.
Anyone interested should submit their order via our website shopping cart as usual , and make a note in the comments section that you would like a drop off. At this time, we are setting the deadline to get orders in AND paid for the trip Wednesday October 21, NO EXCEPTIONS! We will not be accepting cash at drop-offs.
