We are running low 🐾
Our pet food bank is in urgent need of wet dog food and high value treats for both our shelter dogs and dogs in the community.

We have seen an increase in families relying on the food bank, especially those needing wet food to help administer medication.

It’s Rachel, getting adorable ISO snuggles!!! 🐾🥰

She may need a transfusion of type B blood, which means... we need your help!

Other than a very low platelet count, Rachel had a pretty encouraging day today! Her white blood cells have rebounded, she decided she was done with her ng tube, she’s eating well, and is brighter. She even gained a tiny amount of weight!

Her critically low platelet count puts her at risk of bleeding, which is why we’re hoping to get some B kitties lined up in case she urgently needs type B blood.

The hope is that she just needs a bit more time before her platelets can start to rebound, but we will see!
