It's been a while. I'm going to devise a T-shirt that says, "Dementia has a mind of its own"
You never know the nature of the beast until you live with it.
I have nothing but praise for those who are, have been and that have looked after their aging parents or other loved ones with it.
My Mother at 93 is Ok now.

I managed to find her a wonderful spot in Mission, assisted living with supportive care.
She wasn't ready for a long term care scenario but I needed to know 100 percent after she had fallen and broke her hip a couple of months ago. Moved her out of Tsawwassen and into Mission.

My rescue had to be put on hold. You can't serve two masters. Family first as hard as it was.
Mom is coming around and is starting to enjoy a routine which is a good thing.
There were times I kept saying to myself, 'I want my Mother back and it ' brings me tears 😢 even to write ✍️ this.

Ok, hey, she also gets to keep her cat with her and we've hired a pet sitter every 2 days and I do the In between times.
The cat keeps her grounded. Its cat-thartic for her.

Moving on.

Lovely young couple took in two of our Russian Blue kittens at the Garden City Richmond Bosley's today. Thrilled they went together ❤️. Thank you Tori Filipenko and Matthew Filipenko Keli Ruim and staff at the McClellan Bosley's in Richmond

A handful left and November has been a bit more a wash for me. Welcome in December and rest.

We call it Disney land for Cats and older kittens. A Worthy Claws Rescue Society of BC have 3 of ours there as this cat cafe supports a couple of us rescues. All cats are fully Vaccinated, snap tested, neutered and spayed. 😻Their adoption fee covers those vet costs. Businesses and vets that support rescues are worth supporting right back. Catoro Pets also has some very cool events going on like the upcoming Halloween cat event, paint sessions, yoga with cats, TV nights with the cats and loads of educational school tours etc.
